First experience wasn’t the best, but they completely made up for it with a free make-up appointment: I’ve been dealing with sciatica, but thought it was just lower back pain. I called and they got me in that same day, with their awesome first time discount. While the massage itself was nice, the employee simply didn’t focus on the areas I repeatedly told her needed attention, which was the whole reason I wanted a massage. After letting Embody know that I enjoyed the massage but that it wasn’t what I was looking for, they scheduled me in another appointment, for free, and the owner, Sharon, really intensely focused on my issue and helped me realize it was sciatica.

It was so wonderful I went back with Sharon a second time. She was very nice and easy to work with, and didn’t pressure me into more appointments. Although my first experience wasn’t the best, they really made up for it and helped me out a lot.

I have been to several massage places around Columbus and this is my favorite. They are able to personalize your experience, never do a hard sell on a membership (like some places that make you feel super uncomfortable for declining) and are always respectful and pleasant. I have had all treatments with Sharon and I really enjoy her - she is super nice, passionate about what she does and alters her approach based on what you want from the massage (pressure amount, music, heat, talking/silence, etc.). They also helped me arrange some massages for a friend going through some tough times and Sharon personally made a note so that she would take her as her client and avoid certain triggering conversation topics. Wanted to really like this place. The massage itself was acceptable. It was not the most amazing experience overall due to a few other issues. I got a 60 min basic massage that I did not upgrade that I paid $91 for. I was told it was $60 on my first visit and the second visit should have been $69 per the site but I paid $91? This felt wrong to me. I should have questioned it more but I felt uncomfortable so I paid and left. Additionally, if you don’t want to talk/ be talked to non stop I would look elsewhere.
