I recently had the pleasure of working with MK Exteriors for a complete roof replacement and gutters, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. From start to finish, the service was exceptional.

He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire process, answered all my questions, and provided a detailed, transparent estimate. There were no surprises, just straightforward, honest communication—all of this considering a 3-hour time difference, I am in CA and Martin serves Central Ohio.

On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and ready to work. I was impressed by their efficiency and attention to detail, despite me being hundreds of miles away! They treated my property with the utmost respect, ensuring that everything was protected during the job. The cleanup afterward was immaculate – you wouldn't even know they had been there if not for the beautiful new roof!

The quality of their workmanship is outstanding. The materials used are top-notch, and the final product exceeded my expectations. My home looks fantastic, and I have peace of mind knowing that my new roof is durable and built to last.

I hired MK Fixit to do siding and gutters on my house. His price point was less than my other quote, so I went with them. To sum up the experience in one word, I’d go with “frustrating”. Issues: First off, communication from Martin, the owner, is hit or miss. I read this in other reviews. It is a legit beef. The crew that does the work are subcontractors, MK Fixit doesn’t have its own crew, so keep that in mind. Martin measured and ordered the materials, but otherwise just “popped in” every so often. That 40% (i.e. thousands of dollars) Martin got just for measuring and ordering was basically a “middle man fee”. Work was done fast and fine details were missed. Also cleanup was bad. I spent a couple hours picking up nails, and other debris after they left. Anyway, two guys worked on the house, and it took them 5 days, plus a sixth day of having Martin here fixing issues. Martin did end up addressing a bunch of issues, but for the price I was paying for this job, I shouldn’t have to bother with constantly checking work and contacting Martin to make sure things get rectified. At least not when dealing with a “5-star” company.

That is why I had to write this review because MK Fixit is not close to 5 stars. 3 stars tops. As a handyman/roofing/siding company, just remember, these glowing 5 star reviews could be for reseating a toilet or doing a tile job, or other easy jobs. Or from friends. We had the fortunate pleasure of hiring Martin and his crew for our home renovation project. We would highly recommend them for any future renovation projects. Martin was very professional throughout the project. We had him come out to our house to quote replacing the siding and gutters. He showed up on time and had the quote back to us within a few days. Other contractors wasted our time by coming out to the house to take measurements but never sending us a quoted price. Martin's communication during the project was thorough and his responses to my questions were timely. He and his crew showed up and finished the project in the exact time frame he stated. Any issues were immediately brought to my attention and were resolved quickly and correctly. After the project was completed he and his team were very thorough in cleaning up around the house and yard. I took a walk around the house and never saw any nails, screws or 1 bit of trash or debris in the yard. You would never had known they had done any work if not for the new siding and gutters on the house. A day or 2 later I noticed a small issue that needed addressed. I called Martin and he came right out and fixed the problem. No questions asked.
