I have experienced poor customer service in my time of existence but today my experience at this particular lane bryant in Norridge by far has been the worst. I arrived at the location on Saturday (the 16th) around 8:15pm. The store closes at 9. I try not to be that customer that comes in at the absolute last minute because I understand the feeling of wanting to close up and go home. Upon entering, I was greeted with an obligatory, hi. I was looking for a specific bra, which at no point in my entrance was I asked for any assistance. However, shortly after I entered another customer with her daughter came in the store and she was immediately greeted with a hi welcome and was asked if she needed assistance. Little after, I gathered my items and went to the counter to pay. The young lady working was glued to her phone and didnt even look up. I had my phone in hand as I was going to use my app to pay. The customer with the daughter cleared her throat and immediately the lady behind the counter looked up and started helping her. Not once did she acknowledge me. The other young lady working finally came around the counter to ring me up. Clueless, of how the lane bryant app worked she ended up closing the app that had my virtual card on it. So had to login again. I asked for the managers name which was Megan Hart and I will make a call on Sunday. Overall, poor experience, poor customer service. I went in to pick up an online order that I had delivered to the store; the young lady cashier(blonde, fake eyelashes, lipstick tattoo) was extremely rude and was rolling her eyes at me when I asked her a question about my online order. It was as if I was burdening or boring her and this behavior was displayed in front of the store manager, Megan. Not sure if the younger lady is a family member of one of the managers, but any other manager seeing this attitude from an employee would take action instead of laughing and smiling at her, almost encouraging her to continue. My niece tried to return 2 items I bought her for her birthday. . my niece tried them on they were to big so she went in to exchange . the girls behind the counter were rude told her she and the clothes smelled like ahe had warn them they embarrassed her infront of numerous employess and customers.
