Buckle — Local services in Novi

At first glace I didn't think I would like anything in the store and when I looked at some of the price tags I really thought this place was out of my league. But a salesgirl named Laine helped me find the private brand the Buckle sells BKE and Daytrip. Oh my gosh I love this store now! I exclusively shop here. The tops are all about $20 and they look just like the $70 ones. Very unique clothing you don't see many other places. Lots cool layering pieces from big to small clothing labels. If you look at the mannequins in the store they have a lot of really cool and fun layers on. I literally just go in and point to mannequins and ask if they can find me something like that. They really do have amazing customer service so I'm not sure who the other reviewers met. They brought me tons of different pieces to try on it was like have a personal shopper putting together cute outfits together for you! They didn't pressure me to buy anything either. Worst retail experience ever. Listen, I understand things happen, but if I order a pair of jeans and they rip on both sides on first wear, something isn’t right. I go to return them and I’m told they can do a free repair. Great, sounds good. Well I’m told to get them Friday as the lady comes in Thursday. I pick them up Saturday to find that they hadn’t even been touched. I take them back and am told the same exact thing. I call to ask if they’re ready where I’m assured they are. I asked them to double check as I’m already not thrilled to be coming back. I’m reassured that yes, they’re ready. I go to pick them up and only one side was fixed. They call in the seamstress to fix them. I had to go out of my way two times in one day to get these jeans that should’ve been fixed the first time. I get to my car to find the shittiest, rushed, and entirely jacked up fix to the other side, and somehow, there’s still a hole in my jeans. I’m really not happy that this is my first experience with this store and I suggest you don’t even bother letting them help you. Help yourself and just...

I had a great experience here today with Asian! She was so friendly and actually made an effort to connect with me! I was here for literally 3 hours and she showed the same amount of energy and enthusiasm the whole time. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for, offered several times to take the clothes out of my hands and into a fitting room, took clothes out of the fitting room that were no's so i didnt have a crowded room, and even brought over her finds that she thought I would like. I've never felt so welcomed at any store and felt like I had a personal shopper!! Their customer service is worthy of way more than 5 stars.

Their store is well taken care of and the associates were constantly on top of keeping the displays folded and neat. I hope all (especially Asian) is being recognized!! Not once did they make me feel like a pest for taking...
