Totally Tea — Restaurant in Novi

Honestly I didn’t love it, and this isn’t my first time getting boba milk tea, although this was my first time trying this place. I got the taro and asked for original tapioca boba. What I got was a lukewarm, bland drink with a combination of tapioca boba and exploding ones that were filled with some kind of fruit filling. I personally did not like the exploding boba and was annoyed that they were mixed in to the normal ones. Aside from the beverage being less than stellar, the customer service was not the best. The moment the girl at the register asked me what I wanted, she turned and started talking to a young man about his haircut, and it turns out he actually worked there as well. Watch out at this location!!!! Prices are MORE than posted. I paid $7.49 for a $5.99 drink. They add extra money to make up for the franchise fee and rent. What the heck?? They will ring up a more expensive drink like the Double Trouble (which is $7.49) when I ordered a $5.99 drink (Passion Fruity). Young man with glasses is the one who attended to me and my kids. Poor business practice. Won't go to that location again. Be careful if you do order that they don't tell you that the Boba is not included in the base price. First time coming here and never again! Waited for 35 min to get our drink and 25 to order. We were waiting in line and the cashier, in which seemed to be the manager, was rolling her eyes and cutting customers off while ordering. When it was our turn to order she cut me off and told me to wait, she left her station for 10 min. Another employee then stepped in her place and wasn’t as rude yet she still had an attitude. We asked for an espresso but she forgot to ask us how many shots we wanted as we were paying, she then makes a snarky remark stating she saved us 1.50 for the espresso shot , when in reality she just forgot to add it and it wasn’t our fault.
