I love the store and have purchased a lot of stuff from here. I purchased a throw two days ago But I misplaced the receipt for it. I Came back two days after and this lady at the checkout said I can’t return it because I have no receipt for it. Which is totally fine like they could’ve given me a store credit for it but the lady at the checkout said I would only get the amount that it was on sale for although I bought it full price. And that’s also okay , but when I asked if I could exchange it for a different color in the same throw that lady said she would not be able to do that. This is not about money cause it was only a $35 throw and that’s fine like I did not have the receipt and they don’t want to return it, but that lady was rude from the moment I walked into the door. And then when I was asking for the refund, she was talking so loud almost yelling at me like “I need a receipt. I need a Receipt” Kirkland needs to do better! This is not how you treat your customers or anyone I was here on Tuesday 5:24 PM so whoever was working that shift was really rude! I asked her name and it was Diane!
My mom was with me as well. And she asked about the price of a pillow and the lady said “go look at the tag” instead of helping her find the price. That’s when I just couldn’t stay quiet. I went and confronted her and asked why she was being rude and she totally denied and told me to “get out”. What a shame for Kirkland to hire such people that spoil the company’s name only because they’re racist and don’t wanna...
Read moreThis was one of my favorite stores, years ago and for some reason I stopped going after what happened to me this past Sunday I remember why, customer service is very aggressive. This being said I returned two items on Sunday and was told after I returned them that they could not refund my cash they had no money in their store. The lady that took care of me at the counter was doing just fine until the grumpy woman decided to tell me that it is store policy not to have cash in their store and if I wanted a refund I would have to get a credit. I thought when she said credit I would get a store credit, I told her no thank you, I didn't want a store credit, the nice lady then said no you could have it put on your debit or credit card. Maybe this should have been said before the whole transaction started. The grumpy lady said I would have been told when I purchased with cash that they wouldn't refund my cash, they would only credit a bank card or a credit card. No one told me that when I purchased my items, if they would have I don't think I would have had a problem returning it and having it put on my debit card. Customer service was poor once again. I know people have good days and bad days but when you work in the service business which I did for 40 years I would only treat people like I would want to be treated. I know people can have bad days but taking it out on customers in your store it's just not good business. You just made it easier for me not to go in and spend money on overpriced items. Thanks...
Read moreKirklands as a company has nice merchandise and when on sale, fair prices. But this location needs to improve their attitude when waiting on customers. I never have anyone at the counter be friendly to me. I am a friendly person, always trying to be helpful and say thank you, but I get no response back, why isn't the store employees thanking me for my purchase? I say thank you when they hand me the bag only to be met with silence. I went in for an online order pick up, I showed her my barcode, she asked I make it bigger, I said it's as big as it will go (because I had already tried) She didn't even try and scan it, said she needed the numbers, so I read them for her and she didn't even say thanks. I also told her on my way out I appreciate being able to a pickup cause I have a bad knee that makes shopping uncomfortable, she said nothing. Like talking to a wall. Just so tired of people not showing consideration in return. And this is not a one time occurrence, every time I go to this store they act like they are doing you a favor to wait on you. Btw, I've worked many years in retail and I'm not expecting anymore than I would give when...
