We found McMillan through a web search when looking to complete a patio renovation project that involved taking out our two old, uneven, crumbling 1950s concrete slabs and old stairs, and replacing them with Cambridge pavers/caps. Their bid was competitive – but NOT questionably so (i.e., so low that you have to wonder why it’s so cheap) and their customer service was excellent and genuine.

From start to finish, our experience was nothing but pleasant and stress-free. Kevin answered every question we had without making it seem like a bother, and he was very respectful of our schedules and property. The whole team is efficient, professional, and friendly (I really wish I could remember everyone's names, but Victor and Martin come to mind as two of the employees, as well as Tom). One thing I always look for in contractors is not just how they treat their customers, but how they treat the people working for them. The interactions between Kevin and his guys were very collaborative and mutually respectful. They have fun with each other and it seems to be a great working relationship.

I have been a customer of McMillan Landscapes since 2013. They primarily take care of my lawn but I have also used them to install new bluestone patios, build retaining walls and boulder walls, install entire landscaping plans as well as drainage solutions. The whole team from the office staff, through the ground crews to Kevin himself are very easy to work with. They use modern equipment, including electric leaf blowers which is a requirement in my town. When working on larger projects, Kevin is very accessible and will help with the design. He pays attention to the details and will oversee the work closely to ensure satisfaction and that it comes in as estimated.
