This review is about a service received at the horrible CVS within this Target. Since they are partners at this location, I think that the Target is partly responsible for the poor quality of the service I received within its store by its partner.
Do not get vaccinated at this CVS! I got vaccinated here on Monday, October 14, 2024, and it was a horrible experience. 3 major things were wrong during this visit: (1) There was no private area where my vaccines were administered. I was basically out in the open, in the aisle. Another person had gotten vaccinated a few minutes before me, and I could see him out in the open with no privacy. That was the same thing with me. A vaccination is a medical procedure. There should be privacy for that. (2) The person administering the vaccine (a middle-aged Caucasian male-presenting individual, RPh James Glass) did not wear gloves. Yes, he cleaned my skin with an alcohol swab before administering the vaccines, but he did not wear gloves while administering them. I watched very closely to make sure he did not stick himself with the needles at any point before or during administering the vaccines. And, (3) he laid out bandages on the counter top (which may or may not have been cleaned beforehand) close to where he was administering my shots, but he did not apply any bandages afterwards. When I asked about that, he said, "Don't think you need 'em, doesn't look like you're going to be leaking any time soon." Finally, as the last statement indicates, he had a very light and breezy attitude the entire time. Maybe he's more of an extrovert, and maybe that's his bedside manner meant to put people at ease, but I thought it was unprofessional and I didn't appreciate that comment. But more so, as stated above, I didn't appreciate the lack of an offer of a bandage; that my vaccines were administered out in the open for everyone to see; and, above all, that he didn't wear gloves while injecting needles into my body. I will never return to this CVS inside the Target at Lake Street, especially for future vaccines; and I will advise all of my friends, family, and social contacts not to use that location, especially to...
Read moreI've had good multiple experiences with this Target location as the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
The reason for this lower rating is because an inaccuracy happened. I do intend to continue shopping here once the below inaccuracy has been resolved. At a recent visit to the Oak Park Target location an inaccuracy occurred and I intend to talk with the store manager Ivan Bahena. I've already completed the online survey for Target from this store experience.
Here are the details from this visit.
12/24/17 At 1:18 p.m. bought one blouse and one legging at Target in Oak Park, IL. At 4:02 p.m. the same afternoon I returned to the same Target to return the one legging and exchange the small blouse for a medium blouse.
Now the inaccuracy, the cashier refunded two leggings (when I only had purchased one legging and was returning one legging). The legging cost $14.99. I was also trying to exchange the small blouse for a medium blouse and the blouse was $19.99). The cashier would not exchange the small blouse but required me to give her the one legging and the small blouse but refunding me for two leggings.
When the cashier handed me the return receipt which read I was returning two leggings I said, “no it was one legging for $14.99 and a small blouse costing $19.99”. I questioned the cashier again and she still did not accurately refund my money.
Instead of exchanging my small blouse for a medium blouse which I clearly stated I wanted to do she required me to pay another $19.99.
I was unable to stay any longer as this was Christmas Eve.
Update on my post, I returned a few weeks later and met with the store manager Ivan. I showed him the post from 12/24/17 and also their receipts. He refunded the correct amount to me plus gave me a $10 gift certificate. My trust in this location is restored again and have begun...
Read moreBEWARE: S & S TOWING IS WAITING IN SURROUNDING LOTS TO TOW YOU THE SECOND YOU STEP OUT OF YOUR CAR! BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHERE YOU PARK! I parked in the only visible parking lot directly in front of Target stupidly assuming it was the Target parking lot and was towed in less than 10 minutes. Got out of my car at 4:58, car was completely gone when I came out at 5:06. Extremely predatory behavior. The towing company has hundreds of reviews of this exact scenario happening to other patrons of the shopping center. PLEASE POST BETTER AND MORE CLEAR SIGNAGE FOR PARKING so these vultures don’t have such easy targets! They are clearly posted here constantly because it’s an extremely easy mistake to make, PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR PARKING SIGNAGE! While I waited for 2 hours in the parking lot for a ride to pick up my towed car, I watched more than 40 other people park in the exact lot I was parked in, walk in to the exact same Target, and walk out. Absolutely horrible experience, I will never be back to the shopping center so long as that company is allowed to sit and wait like vultures for their own...
