me and my sister googled places that have happy hour; this establishment popped up, so we say why not give them a try? The place was empty we order happy hour martinis to which the server tells us are 10 bucks (fine but isn’t what is advertised in the window 8 bucks for well drinks). We asked what were the appetizers that were included in the happy hour menu (cause we all know how places pick and choose) none of them sounded appetizing so we went with the wings and bbq chicken bacon flat bread. Now keep in mind the place is EMPTY me and my sister are the only ones in this place…. We ordered a second round of martinis (which were delicious) our wings have come out… now the server and his sidekick get to moving chairs around for the entertainment. We didn’t think nothing about so by this point we’re ready to go. We ask for the check. He brings the check but on the receipt the bbq chicken bacon flat bread is on there (psst.. we never got it. Never got checked on we had to ask for napkins for the sugar rimmed lemon drop we had that slid down the pole like a stripper at KOD [if you know you know]) I tell the server we never received the flat bread he echoes it back to me .. as if he sees a plate for the flat bread…. Needless to say he had to remove it…BOTTOMLINE service sucks wings are good DRINKS are better. Hopefully you have a...
Read moreJust editable is how my friend described it. My clams in linguine had bits of gritty shell in the linguine. I told the waitress and she did offer to replace it, but if one has it, I would think that the next one would too. The waitress was the only one working. 3 people gathered at the cash register just talking. She never mentioned the Betty White freebie. She did her very best to try to ignore us when we needed something. My friend joked that she had to jump up and raise her hand like in school. That didn’t even work. Had to shout. Then when I wanted my leftovers wrapped. She dumped the dirty dishes on my entree?!?!? Then when the check came, my friend noticed a charge for $3. We asked the waitress. Because I had asked if I could have anchovies on my Cesar salad ( which was $11 to begin with) they did an up charge without telling me....
Read moreThank goodness, a wonderful replacement for LaBella, just in time. Delicious food, friendly and dedicated owner (who delivered our order himself!), and eventually a nice location on revamped Lake Street. This will be our new go-to. We ate here a few years ago, and it was ter-ri-ble--but the new owner has totally turned it around, now one of the best places in town. Tonight was pizza and chicken limone delivered. Quattro formaggi had the perfect amount of exceptionally flavorful and unusual cheese, with a light but nicely textured crust. Chicken limone was so moist and savory, with a perfect hint of citrus. The menu is chock full of intriguing dishes--we'll be trying many of them in the next few months. This place is now as good as the other recent reviews...
