Really need to look for better pharmacy staff, I haven't had much of an issue for a few months, but they still clearly have that one lady who doesn't like to do her job, she will tell you that there filling the prescription when there not, I've been trying to get my daughters meds and the pharmacist from VA (while she was visiting family) reached out to me asking if she still needed them, I said no because she is back home, the meds were on back order and she provided me with the NDC# to give to the Walgreens here bc they use the same distrabuter and they could have them ordered...the lady at this Walgreens had nothing to do with what I had to say just kept repeating "well we don't have them" try calling another Walgreens. I had to call back mina at the VA Walgreens and she had to call and take care of it because the staff didn't want to take there time in dealing with it. Walgreens do everyone a favor and get rid of these people, this clearly isn't the job for them. But I've had more issues then not with this Walgreens like being told by Joe the pharmacist that I couldn't fill my meds that are for 30days on the 30th day of following month because they don't count the day you pick them up?? Like what? Id never heard of such a thing? Must of been one of those made up policy I see everyone else talking about. My Urologist prescribed a new medication to take and as my husband was picking up my medication, they wouldnāt give it to him until they talked to me. I received a phone call from the person refusing to give me my medication and he claimed itās in my chart that Iām allergic to a medication that is very similar to the medication that was prescribed to me. He asked what my reaction was to the medication and I asked him what is he talking about because Iām not allergic to the medication. I have no idea why thatās in my chart and Iām very concerned that someone is putting in false information about me in my chart. I want to know why that was in my chart and most importantly WHO put it in my chart.
UPDATE Received a call from Joe, the pharmacy manager and I am extremely upset with how the call went. Come to find out there were TWO medications on my allergy list that I am NOT allergic to. He kept dismissing my concerns about who put this in there and why, and the fact that Iām concerned this would keep happening. I was just calling in a prescription, tried to explain that I donāt have the number for it, and she interrupted me to ask my birthday. Very unfriendly tone. Like she was mad I was calling in. I gave her my info and the call dropped. I thought she hung up on me, but my phone said āCall Failedāā¦
waited an hour and called back and got the same lady, again was rude as hell. I just started the call off with my information to avoid the previous interruption and she said ājust a momentā but the phone crackled and it sounded like she may have asked me a question and when I asked her to repeat herself she raised her voice āI said Just. A. Moment.ā
I get the feeling she thinks I originally hung up on her. She said she could fill my script tomorrow and I said āokay thank youā and she said very sarcastically āTHANKS!!ā And hung up.
