The store people very friendly. Said they couldn't help me there so I called 611 # like they said for tech help to set old email address but first tech person wasted 2 hrs of my time, 2nd tech better but email still not working says doesn't exist. So wasted total of 5 hrs dealing with all AT&T staff still unresolved. First ph tech messed up my husband email trying to fix my. My spouse went to same store I did they fixed him up right on the spot no charge but I was told I get charged $35 if they fixed my ph so they said to save money call the 611 #. Then told me can't retrieve a unused email. Beyond frustrated yet ph tech was pushing for new 5G home internet why would I want it if my phone I bought from them they can't resolve issue speaking with 3 different techs. Not impressed. Just called again on phone at att Customer service on for tech support 611 and wasted 45 minutes again still trying to get email to work. Finally asked for another tech person Marine hung up the ph on me then called back twice I said hello she hung up again w/o saying a word. I guess to make it look like we got disconnected & she fake called me to look like she was trying reach me. Very poor customer service. Tech support doesn't know what their doing but waste my time. For this reason I would never get fiber optics & thinking of dropping them. We been long term customers but they don't seem to care. Even when we bought our phones 3 yrs ago they didn't have phones we wanted look at on display & refused to get them out the back so we could look at them until we said we go to another store, then magically they decided to bring phones out. Their excuse was by touching them they couldn't sell them as new. ??? The store has nice staff but said I should call 611 bc they couldn't help me. I figure out unless your on authorized on contract they won't help you, like your a liar even when you know past code, can show drivers license proof I am under spouse account. It's all bc how Att has its policy set up. They like I pay my bill other than that I am discriminated against bc of their stupid policy. Screwed up policy. Att should get a skilled tech person fix my email address instead of me chasing after them to fix it. This makes tech # 4. How many Techs does it take to fix email address? How many techs do I have to go through to find needle in haystack tech who knows what their...
Read moreI had the most wonderful experience at the AT&T store in Oak Ridge yesterday, August 2, 2020. My phone had been having issues for sometime now. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the risk being out in public, I had just been struggling through with my old phone issues for months now. I knew I needed to get a new phone, but to be honest I was just too scared of the thought of going inside any store. Yesterday, my phone just would not hold charge. It of course, is my only means of communication. So I took a chance and drove to the AT&T store in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
As soon as I pulled in the parking lot, I pulled into a parking spot and an AT&T representative came straight out to my vehicle. The Representative’s name was Jessi S. She was wearing a mask, had her tablet in hand and asked me what she could help me with. I explained the issues I was having with my IPhone 6 and that I knew I needed to get a new phone. Jessi talk to me about the differences between the newer iPhones and helped me to make the decision on which phone would work best for me. She took care of the transaction right there in the parking lot, went inside got my new phone, came back out to my vehicle and helped me to activate the phone. Right there in the parking lot!!!
I was in and out of that parking lot in approximately 20 minutes. That’s right!! In about the time it takes to get through a drive-thru restaurant I was on the road with my new IPHONE 11.
Thank you Jessi S and thank you AT&T for caring enough to keep me and my family safe and in service through...
Read moreBefore I begin my story I have been an AT&T Wireless customer for many years. I love their service! But if you decide to walk into this store in Oak Ridge you will be sorry!! My wife and I walked in to use our upgrade for her to get the new iPhone 7. Jessi informed us there were $150 in FREE accessories that came with this deal for purchasing the new iPhone 7. She helped us for at least 30+ minutes to pick and choose things to meet this amount without going over. "ALL FREE she said, can't pass this deal up!" We were like yea sure! Completed the transaction and left for the evening. Well 3 weeks later we received the bill that had a 6 month installment plan of $26 a month for accessories we received from the Oak Ridge store!!!??? I couldn't believe what I was seeing and especially the feeling of being lied too multiple times. She nor Austin(Manager) explained one time that any of the accessories were being purchased on installments!! So long story short do NOT have any association with this AT&T store in Oak Ridge!! I'm stuck with paying for this now.....Go to Knoxville AT&T Stores for...
