I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kume Japanese restaurant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and my overall experience was quite satisfying. Accompanied by my son, we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was no wait upon our arrival. This was a great start to our dining experience, as we were eager to dive into the menu.

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the sushi. The freshness and quality of the fish were apparent in each bite, and the variety of rolls and sashimi options left us spoiled for choice. The presentation was impeccable, making it not only a treat for the taste buds but also for the eyes. Additionally, the miso soup and salad were a delightful accompaniment, providing a balanced and traditional start to our meal.

One of the standout aspects of Kume Japanese restaurant was the pricing. The reasonable prices were a pleasant surprise given the quality of the food and the dining experience. This made it an excellent option for a family outing, and it felt like we were getting great value for our money.

The convenience of easy parking and the efficient, fast service further enhanced our experience. We didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot, and the attentive staff ensured that our meal was served promptly.

In conclusion, my visit to Kume Japanese restaurant in Oak Ridge was a positive one. The delicious sushi, reasonable prices, easy parking, and swift service all contributed to an enjoyable meal. I'm certainly looking forward to returning in the future, and I would recommend Kume to anyone looking for a delightful Japanese dining experience in Oak...

Gluten free community this hidden gem needs to be found. We called ahead to make sure we would be safe. Got here and we asked for the gluten free menu, they said the didnt have one. I realized later it was because EVERYTHING COULD BE MADE GLUTEN FREE!!!!! Everything is fresh and made to order. A portion if our appetizer was brought out that contained gluten, when my waiter realized he rush back over pulled it away from me letting me know it was not gluten free and pushed an empty dish to me so there was no mistaking his intent. Everything that came out gluten free he informed us. Absolutely amazing service and knowledge. The food is amazing. I had to double check that our apps were gluten free they were so good I'd have never known. The mochi is out of this world!!!!!!!

Edit: update 5 minutes later, I place a Togo order for my husband, my waiter ran out after me to make sure the oder wasn't for me because it had gluten in it. Phenomenal job gentlemen. You are amazing. The best response to my issue to date. I cannot accurately Express how impressed I am with their level...

Hard to find an authentic Japanese restaurant here in East Tennessee. I ate in a lot of really good authentic Japanese restaurants in the Philippines and what we have here in East Tennessee are not close to those I had. Anyway, i gave up finding really good Japanese resto here. Now, with Kume, food are reasonably priced. Kinda hit and miss though on the food. Tofu was so good: crispy outside and soft inside. Gyoza is very good: subtle garlicky taste. Squid seaweed salad was amazing: you could very well taste the roasted sesame and the dressing blended well the ingredients. Shrimp in the hibachi is overcooked. Soup is like a bullion, so yucky. Restaurant is not well-lit. Sayce in the Hibachi are too sweet for my taste. Female Bathroom not that clean; but men’s bathroom is clean,...
