All About Nails — Local services in Oakland

I really wanted to love this place—it’s close to home, reasonably priced, and came recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, my experience just didn’t hold up. My regular pedicure smudged the same day (even though I avoided socks and closed-toe shoes for hours), and my gel manicure started chipping and lifting by day 4. My right pointer nail is half chipped, and several others are lifting at the cuticle and catching on my hair. I expect gel to last at least a week or two, so this was pretty disappointing.

I’m leaving two stars because the salon felt clean, it was easy to book an appointment at a convenient time, and when I called about the chipped nail, they did offer to fix it. I didn’t go back, though, since most of the nails were already in poor shape—it didn’t make sense to fix just one when I’ll need to remove the whole set...

Love this place. I got lucky needed to get a manicure quick(it's my birthday gotta look good) and asked Google's💅 where were the nail shops in the area I was in. So I think I passed a few of them. Then I called to see if I could get manicure now, and they had just got a cancellation so there I was happy on my 56th Birthday nail did and I was on. Man I forgot het name already, I💅 wanta say Sonja. There all good from the looks of there customer. One customer that eas in there told me I was lucky to get right. She said "if I called on a Wednesday, she would possibly get an saturday. POSSIBLY "on this 7th day of the 7th month and a #7 nail polish is awesome. Keep th💅e 7''s...

So far both times I have been I LOVE this place. Although there are a ton of nail salons in the Oakland and Bay Area, it took me about 4 different nail places until I was happy and found this one. It's a hidden gem. They do a wonderful job and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely keep going back! I posted pictures of both nail job from each time I went.
