It must Be The chef, because the woman that looks LIKE she was a stand in for Uncle Fester was mean as she could be to me! I am a part time gig worker/ senior citizen and I take pride in every occupation that I have! I am a college educated woman that has always been involved in customer service some way, somehow I went in today and this lady started yelling at me while a customer was there. She even tried to put me down for doing gig work...Ijs it must be the chef...I go to mom and pop shops and to 5 star restaurants and I have never had any employee yell at me! Then she went on the app and gave me a thumbs down, out of 9+ years she was the only one to give me a 👎 down! And yes I do gig work and I enjoy it! I come and go as I please! I make great $$$$$ and I am helping people that work from home, students on campus, people that don't have transportation, parents that have small children and maybe don't want to leave their homes also I help people that are disabled or people that has had surgery, etc. BTW when I left there, I went to Cafe of the Bay, I told the person that worked there that I was there for a pick up, gave him the name as I stood there and he verified that everything was there as the customer requested! The customer service was different as night and day! And yeah, my customers love me! And you know why? It's because I respect them, I follow their delivery instructions and I make sure I deliver their items with care! I did the same thing at the Coffee Mill, another lady was already helping me....I don't know why The Uncle Fester look alike felt the need to intervene & start yelling at me and then to have the nerve to make rude comments about why I am a gig worker! I wander if the owners know she treats gig...
Read moreOk, whenever I see shrimp on the menu. I have to try them. Having lived in the real southern states of Florida and the like have spoiled me about the simple taste of shrimp and grits. I have always found them to be dressed up shadows of what the dish should really by anywhere outside of the southern. Especially here in the bay area...... Until now... The shrimp and grits here are dressed up. However the shrimp is cooked well and the grits are the creamiest I have had outside of Florida. The tomatoes, onions, green onions are bot really needed for this dish, the don't over power the main stars. All in all, the best shrimp on grits in the bay, and they would actually hold there own in any place in any of the typical southern states shrimp and...
Read moreI love the coffee and always grab it on the go. Today I had time for a leisurely breakfast so I’m dining on the patio under a heat lamp on a rainy dreary Monday - how perfect for my taste buds! The house blend coffee is my favorite—it’s a combo of French, Italian and Colombian beans! We usually do delivery from The Coffee Mill but since I’m out and about I’m so glad that I’ve experienced the French toast in person! It’s delightful with their unique syrup and powdered sugar. I added a delish scrambled egg on the side. This may have to be my meal for the day from a calorie perspective but who’s counting! 😉 I also love the folks who make this place purr—they are sweet and...
