LIES AND SCAMS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE.
Refurbishing: BEWARE, they don't refurbish your screens, you send them good quality original Apple LCD and they say they are bad quality and send you back aftermarket LCDs while they rejoice in the profit they will make. They lie about he "bad" screens tested because I asked for my "bad" screens back and most of them were good after I tested. So I'm guessing most of the people don't ask for the screens back so ApplenBerry just steal your screens to refurbish.
Screens: Decent quality, you're going to have to remove all the camera brackets because they do a bad job of putting them on straight. And you're going to have to put the proximity sensor bracket yourself because they don't glue it on. About a 12% defect rate in my experience.
RMAs: BEWARE they will send you bad screens that don't work and then make you put money out of your pocket to send them back. I also had to constantly remind them and ask the status of the RMA. If you don't remind them, they won't bother to send you another one.
Time: Costed me hundred of $$$ in loss of repairs. Don't believe any time estimate they give you. They lied every single time and I called many times. Many of my customers were mad at me because I kept telling them wrong dates. I couldn't wait any longer so we agreed to meet up the next day at 11 am in Livermore because it was halfway between Manteca and Oakland. Matt rarely answered the phone and kept telling me the screens weren't ready and giving me wrong time estimated. I had to delay, refuse, and cancel appointments for THREE HOURS until he finally decided to meet me in Livermore. Of course I arrived first and shopped at WalMart while he arrived. When he gets there he calls me and tells me to hurry up, after he made me wait for him THREE HOURS. I decided to give them another shot the second time and it was even worse. They supposedly recieved my screens Tuesday. If they honored the ONE DAY SERVICE that their website shows then I should've gotten my screens either Wednesday or Thursday. Matt tells me my screens would arrive to me "realistically" on Friday. Here comes Friday and no screens. Then the manager tells me they were going to BARELY SHIP IT OUT MONDAY.
Communications: Rarely answers the phone. I text and call the same number every time and have to explain the situation to a different person. They take hours or even a day to answer a text message. They don't honor the prices they quote you and quote you differently every time. I was also told shipping was free when I did it the first time, and the second time they wanted to charge me and wouldn't honor what they told me the first time about free shipping.
CONCLUSION: After all of these inconveniences, NOT ONCE did the manager or anyone ever offer me a sincere apology. I asked for a discount and they refused to give me free shipping, so they're not refurbishing my screens and...
Read moreI would like to give AnB (6) starts if I could. I was refer by a friend when I mentioned that my iPad was acting up and I was not willing to dumped it for a new. At least not for another year or two. So I came to the shop, parking is not easy to find but not impossible either. Most important is the way they treat me from the onboarding process of taking my information to the almost daily updates if the status of my iPad (even to the point of parts arriving). I was very impressed. I had taken my electronics to some of those kiosks at the mall and honestly that was a mistake. In here the price was incredible but most incredible was the honesty and care these beautiful human beings offered me. First time client but I assure you won't be the last.
