Allscan Livescan — Local services in Oakland

I just had the BEST experience getting my livescan and rap sheet ordered from here. When I first called, I was surprised to be met with so much kindness and helpfulness based on my previous experiences with bureaucratic processes. The owner even texted me to share further details. When I came in today in person, the security guard was really sweet and helpful, and the owner helped me with every step of the way. We had some lovely conversation and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The office is also really clean and beautiful and best part, no lines and no appointment needed!

I’m pretty shocked to see reviews saying the service was bad or rude, as the owner is usually the one working and she is probably one of the kindest people in customer service I have ever met. I suspect these are false reviews.

Ms. Kelly is an exceptional fingerprinting service provider, quite possibly the only good one in Oakland — her office is responsive, conveniently located, clean and professional. Ms. Kelly is not another ‘LiveScammer’ just trying to make a quick buck off people who must complete a background check for work: she processes the paperwork efficiently, provides clear instructions while capturing prints and charges a fair price for the service (less than any other provider I contacted for a quote, despite clearly running a more professional operation.) Easy process! This is inside a tall building called Regus that is across the street from Oakland Town Hall. I walked in and was instructed to go to the 9th floor and a secretary on the floor informed me that she will be right out. I was tended to immediately. She greeted me and took me back to the office to complete the scanning. COVID - 19 guidelines were followed and the machine was already cleaned before I scanned my fingers.
