Beautiful Church. Wonderful Choir. Brochures provided in the Narthex, as well as candles. Church Service started on time at 9:30 A.M. I was uplifted by Father Krikor Zakaryan's Sermon. I also received Communion. Best place to be to find inner peace. Father Krikor made it possible for my mother to receive Communion, prayed, and blessed my mother on Tuesday and also visited her once more on Sunday. Father Krikor, my daughter, and I were going to meet at the hospital on Sunday; however, Father Krikor texted to find out if we could meet around 3 P.M. instead, and we all met at 3:15 P.M. I believe this was divine intervention since it enabled Father Krikor to administer Communion, say a prayer, and bless my mother once more before she passed at 4:20 P.M. on Sunday. My daughter and I also benefitted from Father Krikor's wisdom when we asked him what transpires to someone who is near death. He patiently explained it to us and eased our minds. Before Father Krikor left, my aunt and cousin joined us at the hospital, providing us the much needed support during this difficult time. Dr. Sarafian, who was my mother's primary physician, when she was admitted to the hospital at Kaiser Permanente, is a Deacon at St. Vartan Armenian Church, and I appreciated so much that he took the time to approach me right before the Badarak to inquire about my mother's health.
