Came here due to the excellent reviews. The food we had - lamb dish and scallop dish with fried rice was very tasty but as warned the prices are high.
A half dozen scallops, some lamb and spices with a smattering of scallions ($20), and a bowl of friend rice ($15) plus only water to drink came to $60 after taxes but before tip. Ouch.
For sure food in the Bay Area is expensive and this is a nice safe location and the food is good quality but is it $30 a head nice? Unfortunately it'll make us think about coming back.
And in case you think we just picked expensive dishes - there were plenty much more than $20 a dish, and most if not all that weren't appetizers were $15 or more. Maybe we've all been conditioned to think this kind of dish should always be cheap, or at least cheaper? I don't know.
Anyway, no regrets on the food. The place is a bit loud - you'll hear and see the kitchen busy making your food. The waiter was friendly and efficient. Only $$...
Read moreWe had a really nice experience at Lin Jia Asian Kitchen last night. The food was fresh and came fairly quickly. The service was friendly and the staff was attentive. And space felt light, not crowded; a clean and modern setting.
The menu offered a variation of Asian selections from noodles to rice, meats and salads. We had the crispy egg rolls, spicy vegetable noodles with prawns, and the Korean fried chicken.
What stood out for me aside from the freshness of the food was the dipping sauce of the egg rolls. Instead of the ubiquitous sweet and sour sauce, they served a tangy sweet and lemon sauce. It was delicious! The other dishes were on point as well. The KFC had just the right kick and the noodles sauted perfectly. Although, I may have preferred just a tad bit more veggies.
This is for sure a good place. Glad we stopped in in time for...
Read moreTried this place for the first time and was really impressed! It's VERY clean, with modern, pleasant atmosphere. All of the staff were really friendly and kept our waters filled, and dishes cleared, and the food came out quickly.
I especially loved the shrimp rolls, the cilantro and dipping sauce made a fresh flavor and the wrapper was so light and crispy. We also had hot and sour soup, fried rice and wrinkled beans. Everything was prepared perfectly and with generous portions, so we took some home, and they even boxed it for us which further elevated the experience. I paid with cash and they made sure to give me small bills for change which made it easy for me to give the tip without needing to ask for more change. Honestly the best service I've had in a restaurant in a long time.
Try it, you won't be...
