I had placed an order online for pick up at a Claire’s in Tampa on 4/8/23. A few days pass and I decide to go into the store to ask about the status. Man working behind the counter literally blamed me for coming into the store without a text from them saying it’s “confusing” to the staff to even show up and ask. So a month goes by, still no text or email. I was at this Ocala mall location and figure why not go in and ask how I can get my money back. The woman told me it’s not their problem and I can just cancel it in the email. I stand there scrolling to find the month old email and when I do I cannot get her attention to ask her how to cancel it, but she’s too busy talking to even acknowledge that I need help. I ended up just walking out because no one cared. Turns out you can’t even cancel it in the email, there’s just a customer support email address. So I email them frustrated that 3 separate employees were rude and that it had taken so long for an update. I get an automated email next day saying the order was canceled, but no sort of apology or even explanation as to why the customer service was so horrible. Read moreI have never been impressed by this Claire's, I am never greeted when walking in, never offered a basket, never offered an up-sale, associates always too busy with their own conversations behind the register etc. but today witnessed the associate working pierce two different girls ears while wearing the same gloves. It had bare towers and is always unorganized and I'm the one who has to initiate even a "Hi" at the register. I was the manager at another Claire's about 10 years ago and remember the rigorous customer service and store presentation training, especially about greeting and saying promotions and the baskets oh my gosh was that the biggest deal ever!! I am always looking to see if this Claire's even meets a quarter of those standards and it's a big no 👎 Too bad because my girls love it but I cringe...

My purpose for visiting the store was to inquire about getting my cartilage pierced and to browse their selection of belly rings. However, upon entering the store, I was not greeted or offered assistance by the two associates sitting behind the register, who were both wearing AirPods and seemed uninterested in helping customers, with one associate sitting in a chair and the other on the floor.
