Dolle's Candyland, Inc. — Local services in Ocean City

I recently visited Dolles at Inlet Park Ocean City. my experience was nothing short of terrible. The popcorn itself was stale and tasted like it had been sitting out for days. To make matters worse, the manager JAY , was incredibly rude and dismissive when I brought this to their attention. Instead of addressing my concerns, he acted annoyed and told me to "you bought it now deal with it" . His lack of professionalism and disrespectful attitude made the whole situation even more unpleasant. I won't be returning to Dolles Popcorn Palace, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for quality snacks or decent customer service.

The respond from Andrew is incorrect! Jay your manager yelled at my wife and he was raising his tone. My wife calmly was trying to tell him that the popcorn tasted stale. Also there was no crowd behind us when I went to speak to the Manager-Jay, who had first raised his voice. So there was no other staff involved. Clearly he has given you incorrect information to defend his unruly behavior. The complaint has been filed with corporate and corporate has a much better way of dealing this that you, Andrew, by getting some incorrect information. Your manager -Jay clearly not only has to be honest but also needs a behavioral exercise....

ABSOLUTE BEST!! not only the popcorn, but their chocolates are divine as well. There’s a reason they’ve been here since 1910. I think their popcorn is better than fishers. I like fishers but DLLLE‘s is definitely better in my opinion. Seriously! I never actually bought chocolates from them until this trip but I’m sorry I waited so long! Lol so creamy. Oh my goodness! REALLY good! Pretty pricey at $27 a pound. Yeah, not for the faint of heart but if you’re on vacation and you really want to splurge. It’s worth it. . Can’t wait to get back! Again, like fishers but I like Dolle’s better. It has a richer flavor. And the cinnamon pecan is out of this world. Got to have peanuts or pecans....

There are two things that are mandatory when we go to OC, and they are a bucket of Thrasher fries and a bucket of Dolle's popcorn. We have a big family, and we've been coming here since our teenagers were babies. Their interests in what they want to do at OC have changed as the kids have matured, but not this. They alway want Dolle's popcorn. My husband, who hates popcorn, loves Dolle's popcorn. We were just there. I am writing this review as I eat the last crumbs from the bottom of the white bucket. The bucket I tell myself I will remember next year, so we can get a discount. 😂 Excellent popcorn, friendly service and a beautiful location. See...
