Metroflex Oceanside is the EPITOME of what a gym environment should be like.

If you’re more into corporate gyms like 24 Hour or LA Fitness where you keep to yourself and you don’t even know who the manager is, that’s fine. But, if those gyms just have not fit your taste or have gotten you excited to go to the gym, come to Metroflex Oceanside.

First thing you might notice when you enter the facility is either this really big ripped guy named Lou or this other big handsome gentleman named Mike or the giant Bible scriptures on the wall. You’ve entered the House of God. This place could easily be just a gym for people, but a lot of us look at it as a place of healing, too. The energy in this gym is just… different here. It’s pure, it’s clean, it’s safe, it’s warm. As it says on their website, “You will not find any judgments here. This is a house of gains and all glory goes to God!” And, by “no judgments”, Metroflex Oceanside isn’t some commercial gym with a lunk alarm where they give you free pizzas as a “reward”. Everyone here really truly does care about you (fitness or life in general) and want to see you successful. Random people can become friends instantly, and no one ever hesitates to give you a spot or help you with a lift. Every trainer here and owners are extremely approachable. Not only that, they all lead by example. You will see THEM working out, as well. This is a lead-by-example with action, not just words, kind of gym.

Get to know the people here. Whether they’re Marines, competitive bodybuilders, powerlifters, bikini models, athletes of any kind, entrepreneurs, MOMS/DADS WHO BRING THEIR BABIES/KIDS WITH THEM, people with a goal in mind and need a positive/supportive/energetic environment to execute that goal, or simply just people looking for a great gym… Get to know the people.

Please don’t take just one look around and think this is a gym full of arrogant muscle heads and bikini butts. Everyone here is just really passionate, driven, and EXCITED for their sport/lifestyle, and would love to share that passion with you too.

I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the recent major upgrades at Metroflex. This fitness haven has always been a staple in our community, and the recent improvements have taken it to new heights. From the moment you step through the doors, the positive changes are immediately apparent. The ambiance is uplifting, and the modern aesthetic adds a touch of sophistication without sacrificing the welcoming atmosphere that we've come to love. The gym now boasts unique state-of-the-art equipment that caters to a wide range of fitness levels and interests, making it the perfect spot for every member of the family. What sets this gym apart, however, is the genuine sense of community that permeates every corner. The owners, trainers, and staff members are not only knowledgeable and professional but also genuinely invested in the well-being of each member. They go above and beyond to create a supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged and motivated to achieve their fitness goals. I must commend the gym's commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, especially in light of recent global events. Sanitization stations are readily available, and the staff diligently enforces safety protocols, providing peace of mind for all members. As long as I live in Oceanside, this will be my gym for life. Not only is it a raw gym that takes fitness serious but the owner, Lou,, is fantastic, a hero, a patriot,, and truly a great person. I temporarily lost my job due to the V mandate and had to stop my Jiu-jitsu and MetroFlex membership.

When Lou found out why I was stopping my membership, he wouldn't hear of it. He called me directly and told me he will continue my membership for as long as it takes me to get another job. I tried relentlessly to talk him down knowing just how hard it is to keep the mom and pop businesses afloat, especially gyms since they kept forcing them to shut down... but Lou would not hear of it. I was so touched by his generosity that I cried.

Lou and the MetroFlex gym are as real as it gets. Him and hit staff whole heartedly believe in the importance of fitness which is exactly what he said to me on the phone "now (pandemic) isn't the time to stop going to the gym and let your health go". If this great country of ours had more people like Lou, America would be in a much much better place. Because of Lou and the MetroFlex gym, I was able to stay working out when I should've been saving and counting my pennies.

Lou, I love you brother and appreciate you more than you know. I will stay with MetroFlex for as long as you'll have me. Highly recommend anyone looking for a solid gym in Oceanside to check out MetroFlex first because you will regret it if you didn't. This gym is...
