I’ve attended nearly 50 classes at Ritual Hot Yoga Lake Country, and I’m still just as excited for each new class as I was for my first! From the moment you walk into Ritual, the experience is special. The lobby is beautifully designed with sleek black-and-white decor and a cozy fireplace, creating an inviting and serene atmosphere. Nishka, the owner, is incredibly warm, friendly, and truly dedicated—you can tell she’s poured her heart into this space.

The studio itself is stunning, with dim lighting that enhances the tranquil, almost magical atmosphere. The low lighting makes it feel like a safe space to challenge yourself (if you so desire), and the 99-degree heat is absolute heaven—especially during Wisconsin winters! Ritual offers three types of classes: Ritual Hot Yoga, Ritual Yin, and a 20-minute Hot Abs class. Hot Yoga is my favorite—it’s an energizing flow where you move and breathe to the beat of the music, including a section where you repeat the sequence on your own, which I love for the mind-body connection. The Yin class focuses on deep stretching and feels incredibly restorative, while Hot Abs is a quick but intense core workout.

The instructors are fantastic—knowledgeable, encouraging, and always helpful. They offer modifications for poses as necessary, making the classes accessible for yogis of all levels, whether you're a beginner or looking to deepen your practice. Every class also has an assistant who provides opening and closing massages, as well as hands-on adjustments to refine posture or deepen stretches, which takes the experience to another level.

For me, the membership is 100% worth it, but if you’re new, there’s a 10-day unlimited pass to try it out before committing, or you can drop in for single classes. This is what you're looking for... Nothing quite like it in Lake Country. A vibe, a spa, a social club, & a great workout: Ritual is clean, friendly, intimate, judgement free, and exclusive. The YIN class is relaxed stretch therapy while the HOT class - my favorite - is fast, sweaty, and mind-bending. I love the flow state I get into trying to remember the unique sequences and how they change. I really love the massages, hands-on assists, and extra luxury each class has. And mostly I love how I feel after - calm, fit, focused, & cared for. This place is something special just for me. I go everyday, sometimes just to sip tea in the beautiful lobby or sauna, often for the trio class experience (ABS, HOT, YIN). I never find myself looking at the time, it flies by. I forget I'm working out because the flow transcends. Ritual has everything you need, so just show up for 100° and they do the rest. The music is great, the lighting on point, the staff - well, I legitimately love them all. I feel like I've found a special community of like-minded souls here, and I finally have a "gym" I look forward to. I'd pay a lot for one day at a spa/wellness center/personal training session like this on vacation. Instead, everyday feels like a vacation. I am grateful to have Ritual in my backyard and cherish this value...

Ritual Hot Yoga is one of the best Yoga studios I've attended and I've been to many studios across the country and the world. I really enjoy structure of the flow sessions that incorporate the peak pose of the week so you can really work to build your practice. Usually I would only encounter peak poses once every 10-15 classes at other studios, so it's nice to really focus and improve on one pose throughout the week. And you can see your improvement which keeps me motivated. The flow is fast paced, so it took a couple sessions to get used to, but if you do the back to back flow and yin you'll feel amazing! I also really appreciate that this studio offers hands on adjustments to help you deepen and improve your practice. I haven't been to a studio that offers hands on adjustments in years. Lastly, all the amenities make this place top notch and worth the price -- the opening and closing massages are lovely, all equipment is provided so you can just show up, showers w/towels available and hair dryers/curling irons so you can get ready...
