I would like to say first that the tattoo shop was clean and had a great ambiance. The tattoo artist I went to Sahalee did a great job. I barely got my tattoo yesterday but it looks like it is healing well and the detail is amazing and she was quick. My only problem I had with her is her professionalism. I made a appointment with her initially on December 17th and from then I was rescheduled more than 6 to7 times. Most of the rescheduling was last minute, my appointment times kept getting pushed back, or rescheduled for different days all together. I also would get rescheduled last minute like 40minutes to maybe an hour or two before my appointment. A few times I had left work early to get my tattoo but was then completely rescheduled. The 2nd to last time I was rescheduled Sahalee had messaged me saying she was deeply sorry and that she had been busy that whole month as the holidays and personal life was super busy which is totally understandable as the holidays are crazy. She had offered to give me a gift card for a free tattoo with her and that my current tattoo i was going to get with her that I would not have to pay the remaining only the deposit that I already paid to thank me for my troubles and understanding which I thought okay this is great and nice of her. I scheduled my tattoo for the last time for a day she was completely free on January 9th at 4pm. I requested work to leave about 2 hours early to get my tattoo. At about 3:20 pm I get a message from her saying she was running late and if we can do the appointment at 5pm. Which i again understand that people get busy and said that was fine. Went in at 5pm she was nice and did a great job on the tattoo. After the tattoo she was like well you already paid the $50 deposit so all you have to pay is the remaining $30. She had completely forgot that she had offered me the deal that I no longer had to pay the remaining balance and that I was to get a free gift card with her. At this point I was just so tired and exhausted from getting rescheduled so often that I no longer wanted to argue about it and I do not plan on ever coming back to her. We had Black Collar Tattoo at our going away party and it was the BEST decision we made! Phaedra and Marticia were amazing to work with; they were professional, friendly and flexible! The tattoos all turned out amazing and everyone had so much fun, we got a ton of compliments throughout the night and in the days after the event. If I could give more stars I would. This place has an amazing vibe, feels comfortable, and inviting. I would 1000% recommend this shop to anyone looking for a rad tattoo at a great price. The artist each have wonderful skills and have a set of artistic design to fit anyone. I went to their Friday the 13th event with two of my girls and we loved our tattoos and the artist who did them, which was one of the awesome owners and @mendoza.tattoo.
