The shift leader chris threaten to call the police on me, stating that i was being hostile when i asked for managers and corporate contact information. I askedbhim to clean the tables because the tables has not been cleaned, chris told me i had to leave the store because no customers can be in the store when he wipe down the table per corporation. Then i asked for refund. I wanted to sit and drink my coffee not take it on the go. Chris refused to give refund, thats when i asked dor the contact information, then he demanded that i leave the store just because i simply asked for his manager. I told him ok call the police because i need a copy of the police report to gice my lawyer, i start to record as at this point, chris walked to the office and called police as he stated. I waited like 10 minutes then the female cashier came over asked me to leave the store i was already waiting next to the door. I explained to her i was waiting foe the police since chris called them. She stated that chris did not call the police but the manager instead and manager told him to refund my drink and that i needed to leave the property or the police will be called. I explained to chris i was leaving in the beginning i just wanted my money back thats all. I let chris know i will still be contacting corporate due to his attitude. And posting the video on youtube. He took my credit card receipt and read off my name stating he will also post about me online. Really. Lol you are on the clock dude. Thats companies property now not yours. And want them to review it. They will see that the person named chris that is their shift leader has no business being in either customer service position and never needs to be any type of a manager anywhere. The worst. I will never visit this Bean and Brew ever if these are the type of people this company has working for them i never want to go to another ever. Not sure if this is because i was black or because...
Read moreI've been to this beans and brews many times and while sometimes I do have a pleasant experience most of the time not. Today I ordered an iced chai and a frozen Carmel Cielo with an extra shot. I paid and used my app for reward points like usual, then wait..and waited.. and waited. The guy finally handed me an iced chai and said have a nice day before he realized that I still didnt have my other drink. I could see other employees in the back talking and not making other drinks. He finally went back and made it, didnt add and extra shot and told me to have a nice day again. By this time I could see 2 other cars lined up behind me waiting on their drinks. I just drove away. When I tasted the Carmel Cielo today I was overwhelmed with syrup. I used to work for a beans and brews, and I know this is not how that drink is supposed to taste. Save yourself a trip and go to the beans and brews on 42nd st, at least they are consistent and know the recipes...
Read moreCame here with my husband today and we were the only ones here , we ordered two large cappuccino’s , after 15min had passed one of the girls pointed to a random medium sized drink on the counter and said I think that’s a cappuccino, my husband smelled it and said alright where’s the other one, they asked what we ordered.. the same lady that took our order 20min ago and whom stared at us for that length of time already forgot our order. They then talked amongst themselves and still didn’t make it until 30min later and we finally got a large cappuccino, we still don’t know for sure what the other random medium sized beverage was but this entire experience was negative and irritating to say the least, we were the only ones in the building, why it took 30min to obtain our order is ridiculous, customer service sucked and the employees rather talk amongst them selves and argue who is to...
