JOEY!!! This place is the best. I have been there twice and I love it. In my 32 years of having hair, after my first cut there was THE most I've ever been complimented on a haircut in my entire life and that is not an exaggeration. It really helped boost my confidence back up after a difficult time. Also, as a person with a pretty obvious skin condition that people comment on a lot in very annoying ways, I really want to commend this place on their casualness about it. They only really asked when it came to my comfort and otherwise didnt even mention it (like it wasnt the first question they asked, they didnt say 'oh what happened to you?!', or things like that), they didnt assume I wanted to hide it which is nice, and none of the staff stared while I was in there. They really make you feel welcome and cared for, with a nice atmosphere and random bouts of karaoke haha. This last time I was running a little late because of the unpredictable nature of my job and they were very understanding and still fit me in. I have been self conscious about my hair pretty often in my life especially in relation to my face and I know nothing about what shape would compliment it and what would look good on me, etc. which is difficult to explain when people ask you what kind of cut you want. Joey was extremely skilled and knew exactly what would look best on me based on my hair, the grain and direction my hair went, and what would best work for -me-, and he did not make me feel shame around not knowing or what I requested. It felt very personalized and from true skill and knowledge of how hair works. I could not be more appreciative of this place, after having tried so many over my life time, it's nice to find one I actually WANT to come back to instead of putting off haircuts for months because I am dreading going back in. Highly recommend Ben. He is warm, friendly and very professional. It is not a hyperbolic statement to say, he falls within the top 5% of barbers in skill, attention to detail, and his desire to make you look the absolutely best. Sometime, being that good can make you arrogant or "douchie", but he is a humble giant in his field. He was prompt for our appointment, which shows me he values my time. His does great credit to the business. I am very happy to have found him.

The shop has a great vibe. Every barber/stylist seems to care for the customers and a passion for quality cuts. Highly recommend making an appointment as they are always pretty busy. I have gotten 7-8 cuts here. The first was the best, thus coming back. The rest have just been meh, nothing great, and the price keeps increasing. Even with an appointment, sometimes had to wait 45mins to an hour after appointment time to get started.

When the covid shutdown first happened, I supported them by buying a gift card as well as pre-tipping, in order to support them. I haven't been in since, cutting my own hair instead due to covid. A little while back, I was walking by the shop only to find customers and babers in the shop not wearing masks and clearly having no intention of wearing one. Needless to say, now that I am fully vaccinated, this is not the place I will be seeking out for...
