Tacos California Westside Truck — Restaurant in Olympia

I am extremely unimpressed with this taco truck. The food is okay, but not worth the terrible customer service. I will not be returning. I called in a large order for my family, $135 worth of burritos tacos salsa and beverages. I asked very kindly for the house made "chips and salsa" Since they offer nacho's I assumed that was not too much of a reach. I ordered 25 salsa's so we would have enough for the chips. When I arrived the 25 small containers of salsas were carelessly thrown into the food bag. I asked if I could have a separate bag to put the salsa's in, the worker said "No". I went through the rest of my order to make sure it was all there and noticed we were missing the chips and horchata, he was very rude about the horchata's but gave them to me. When I asked about the chips he pointed to the sun chip bags. I explained to him that I ordered 25 salsa's so we could have chips and salsa, he again replied "No". I also ordered the burritos "Supreme" which has them come with avocado sour cream and cheese. This was served, instead of inside the burrito, on the side, I found this to be very strange and would not have paid the extra $4 for a DIY burrito. I will take my money elsewhere next time. I called in and ordered a plate of chicken tacos with rice and beans. The lady on the phone told me that rice and beans aren't available for that right now. So I asked what are they available for? How can I get rice and beans? She then told me that the rice and beans are actually cooking and stated that she wasn't sure if I've ever cooked rice or beans and know how long they take and that they will be available when they're done. Naturally, I asked when are they going to be done? She told me that she didn't know so I asked her to ask someone who does know and then give me the answer because I'm shopping at the grocery store right now and trying to decide where to eat and this is going to be the deciding factor is how long it's going to take to get rice and beans done. When she told me to go eat somewhere else, I demanded to speak with someone else and then I was hung up on. If I could give negative Stars, I would. Customer service is non-existent at this establishment. Do not eat here. I know I never will again after being a faithful...

This truck has become a staple on Westside and now has a sturdy patio-like area for waiting rather than dirt and gravel. But you want to know about the food. We got the CA burrito which were huge and filling. Flavor profile is "authentic" Americanized Mexican food. They'll make it spicy 🥵 though if you ask. Fast! That's for sure. Not long to wait as food is quickly queued and prepped. And if you order with their new app foods ready for pickup. There are a couple of picnic tables but the local graffiti bandits have defaced already. But you come here for the food and go. About the only con was the cheese nachos which @$6.95 was a rip with a handful of tortilla chips and even less cheese. Cost to value ratio was most inequitable. But hey the burrito...
