Both Joe and his shop are amazing. I discovered this wonderful place after moving into an apartment 100 feet away, and I am so glad I did. When I was moving out of my apartment, he graciously helped me haul a 9' tall bookshelf that he had sold me the year before down two flights of stairs. Anything you could possibly want is there...a diverse assortment of beautiful antique furniture, tools, art prints, frames, books and much more. Each item is priced reasonably on the spot by Joe. He goes out of his way to answer your questions and will help you locate something specific you're looking for, but he doesn't pressure you to make purchases. Everything has it's own history and is unlike anything new you will find somewhere else. I support Joe's Collectables because it's a small, independent business in the midst of a sea of corporations that are fueled by greed and consumerism. This shop is run by one, honest man, and it makes a unique contribution to...

I've bought many things from Joe for less than five dollars that have meant the world to me. This man, understands everything. His attitude is clean, sharp, and biblical. The dog is just as holy.
I only get to go to this place about three or four times a year, but when I do, I savor these moments, because this place feels like home. It feels like the garden of Eden. If it was the end of the world the first and only place I'd go to is Joe's Collectible's.
Will he ever read this review or find out about how much I think of him? I don't know. Maybe. Maybe not.

Read moreThe store is dark, dusty, and smells like mold and mildew. My husband was going to buy a piece of artwork from the store, and took a picture so we could come back and find it. The old man at the desk got very confrontational, “Are you going to buy that or just take pictures?” We were confused, and he got very upset and kicked us out of the store. My sister in law and husband were there, and he called the three of us (myself and my husband being men) ladies, and blew kisses as we exited the store. Super rude and unfriendly, we would have bought the stupid thing had he not been so nasty. It’s also very unorganized, hard to navigate, and cold. Save your time and go to the well managed antique store above, they aren’t hoarding a bunch of...
