Omaha native here. The Old Market is the tried and true staple of Omaha. In the past 30 years, Omaha has really grown. There are plenty of districts to enjoy...aksarben, midtown, the Blackstone district, Benson, etc. The Old Market still reigns supreme, imo, partly because of its charm, partly because of the amazing restaurants, and in no small part due to the growing and thriving downtown, including the capitol district, just a short walk away.
