Nouvelle Eve — Local services in Omaha

I went in here with my mom, aunt, and bridesmaids to find a cute dress for my flower girl. I have been in there multiple times years ago and bought multiple items. Well, I was very unimpressed as soon as we walked in. The sales women immediately looked us all up and down and shot us dirty looks like we were trash. We were all dressed up and full hair and makeup done. My flower girl wanted to try a few dresses on and while we waited we looked around the racks, we were followed the entire time with whispers and snotty looks behind our backs. I was disgusted. My flower girl fell in love with a dress that was $180 but we refused to buy it from them and decided to find it online from the original brand (thanks to myself for taking a photo of the tag). They treated us as if we appeared to have no business being in there. Talk about classless behavior. 😒 I will never go back to this boutique. Ever. I highly recommend they find new employees because they are going to lose a lot...

As a southern woman that frequents shopping in boutiques, I was greeted with a lackluster response. I was offered for a fitting room which I accepted, however upon making my selections upon check out she took my clothes without saying one word to me. She simply took them from my hand when I approached the register without acknowledging me. The lack of hospitality and friendliness was very obvious to the point where my companion that I was shopping with brought it up to me, noticing how unfriendly this establishment was. Three female employees working that day, and we were only addressed once when we immediately walked in. Not when we were shopping, not when we checked out and spent over $120 in this establishment. I know times are a bit difficult these days but I must be honest. I have shopped at Nouvelle since 1973. When Kat owned the store I could always count on finding many items that were of high quality, the latest in style, etc. When Kat first sold the store the merchandise did change a bit. But, I could still depend on finding some great pieces. And, of course, I know that my age might play into this somewhat, but, I also find that great boutiques cater to a wide range of ages and styles. I was a bit disappointed when I shopped there the other day. Lots of sweatshirt materials, short shorts, etc. The one outfit I did find proved to not fit well. But, I will not give up on this store as it has always been a fun place for my daughter...
