I visited on 2/20/2022. Total sale 69.00.I enjoyed shopping there, lots of fun and quirky things to look at while I was killing time during a vb tourament. Some of the things are definitely for a mature audience only, wish it was better marked with all the kids in the store. This store definitely has a liberal vibe, which you may assume means all are welcome. It may be I look like a Karen, but definitely didn’t act like one. I remained polite even with the condescending and judgmental sales person ringing me up, but when she didn’t say anything to me after I slid my card, just handed me my bag I did say “you are welcome” A 69$ sale, when there is a big shop small sign outside should merit a gracious thank you? Or have a nice day, I’m so glad you came in? For the middle age woman with the short colorful hair and glasses: I don’t know what you thought when you looked at me with disgust. I wasn’t wearing anything that would say anything about me. But so you think next time about how you treat people that you know nothing about when they visit your store is. No I didn’t vote for Biden. I have a lesbian daughter and love her partner . I support the lgbtq community I was on Lake Street in the aftermath of the riots after the murder of George Floyd handing out supplies and food to the community. Don’t judge me. This gift store has been in the Old Market since I was in grade school, and thank goodness it’s still around! The store is clean, well-organized, and very aesthetically pleasing, with a selection of quirky books, cookbooks, games, tarot cards, figurines, plushies, and more. I loved going there as a kid, and I still do as an adult.

The gifts they offer are genuinely unique and high quality, which really sets them apart. Personally, I love that they sell Little Microbes brand plushies, Jellycats, Squishables, and other nice plushie brands. They also have a section for cooking tools, a section for kids, etc. If you need a thoughtful gift for someone of any age or just want to treat yourself, I recommend...

This is just a fun store. They have a little of everything - much of it is unique and fun. They have a huge selection of greeting cards, most of which are very funny. You can get lost looking through them.

They have mugs, games, puzzles, books, socks, action figures (Einstein, Shakespeare, etc.). They also have political satirical items and much, much more. Some of it is really crazy, and some might offend. So, go there to have fun and expect some things you may love and may hate.

While there, I got to meet the owner who does most of the buying. I had to see if it was as fun to buy the merchandise as it was to look at it - she said it was. I believe her.
