I contacted Best Buy to have the Geek Squad assess 2 mountings of TVs before we purchased the them( Home Theater). I have always been comfortable with Best Buy and Geek squad. Although, they have outsourced home theater installations (at least in my area). The gentleman that arrived was delightful. But I knew more than him on what was required. Emphasizing a nice person but we walked away less $100 and we were going to spend much more. Read moreI've paid for Geek Squad service for 3 years and every time I take laptops in they don't fix what I need.6 months ago I spilled some water on it and took it in and that older white haired man, that always talks down to you, told me they wouldn't even look at it. They wanted to send it off somewhere with a $280 fee to have it checked out. No way. It came back but was running slow so I took it in for yearly maintenance.
