I'm just going right into it. This was our first time here and was very excited. My husband and I made reservations for 8pm which we arrived 10 minutes early and was directed to the wine bar and asked to give them a few minutes. We purchased 2 alcoholic beverages. This is where the hospitality ended. They called us over to be seated, in which there were numerous tables open at the time. We understand how this works being in the restaurant business for over 15 years. They proceeded to seat us at a table for two right next to a joining seat of a party of 4 with barely any room in between the tables. My husband and I wanted more privacy and not be included in conversations with people we didn't know. We asked to be move, they said yes, but give them another 10 mins, so we did just that. We watched other parties of 2 come in and get seated shortly after arriving and the guest were seated at several 4 top tables. My husband went to the hostess desk at approximately 8:15 and asked why haven't we been seated yet? Kenan, the manger proceeded to tell my husband he needed to take care of the 7:45pm reservations first in which they were 15 minutes late. My husband state "we are also an 8pm reservation and was here early and you guys are making this look bad", so of course they sat us at a 4 top table that had been open all along. We ordered appetizers, the truffle fries, which were warm, not hot, and bruschetta and vegetable plate. It was decent. We placed our order at the same time. So we're seated at 8:15pm and our order came out approximately 9:15, but completely incorrect. I initially ordered the pasta with salmon, and my husband ordered pasta as well and we both had individual plates of broccolini. What they did get right was the broccolini. I ended up with chicken on top of pasta and my husband received a single dish with a piece of salmon. We sent back our plates stating this is not what ordered being we told our server we both had shellfish allergies along with my husband being vegetarian. Both of the dinners were taken back to the kitchen just to come back and tell us they sold out of the salmon and asked if there was anything else we wanted. At this time it was now 9:45 and we said just bring us the plain pasta to go. We waited another 15 mins for pasta and when it finally came out, they took the to-go-bag and sat it on another guest's table next to us. Luckily they didn't go into the bag, but said I think this may be your bag because they had already eaten and was ready to go. We advised our server and he grabbed the bad and gave it to us. Now, we seen him tell the manager our food would be taken care of and he needed to come talk to us. Kenan, the manager, avoided us at all cost. We watched him go to new tables just being seated and greeted them with taking their orders for appetizers as we continued to wait. Once he was close to our table, I gave him a look of disgust and he came right over. He did apologize and stated several times he would take care of the bill, which wasn't much, but 2 bellini's, a lemonade, 2 salads, 2 warm pastas to take home and 3 chocolate chip cookies. He said he would give us his card, which never happened, and continuously promised he wanted us to have a better experience. Kenan said the next time we visited, he would schedule us a tour of the gallery, take care of our entire meal etc., but yet no follow up, he never made sure we had his information and literally watched us get up and leave. We are understanding this is a new establishment, and although the ambiance and decor is beyond exquisite, the service does not match by far in our experience. We left around 10:45 and still hadn't had a meal. If you're going to put this type of money into an establishment, the delivery, execution, and follow up need to be top notch. It wasn't because of the mistakes made, it was how everything was handled and the way we were treated from the start. I haven't written a bad review in a very long time because I believe in giving grace, but this time...
Read moreIt was all about Monica. What an incredible member of your team. She was so much fun to work with and made our experience at Restoration Hardware the best we’ve ever had. We are brand loyalist and love everything about your furniture and design techniques and have purchased quite a bit of furniture from your store. We went in on a Saturday just to look because we were in need of a new couch and we literally walked out a few hours later with the couch and a beautiful chair. Monica took us around the store and priced everything for us. She showed us swatches of different fabrics and colors and had all the information we needed for availability and delivery. She treated us so kindly and we were never feeling pressured to buy something. She was attentive to only us while we were with her and that made us feel very special. She’s got incredible taste and a large catalogue of knowledge. She answered all are questions without hesitation so we knew we had to purchase our couch right there and then. We had a winner sales team member and we knew it. We will be back very soon as we are also looking at dining room tables. Of course we will be working with Monica when we decide to get up there. Customer Service is a rarity these days. Everyone seems to be in a hurry and not really into what they are doing. You can see the sadness on their faces. It’s depressing for consumers like us but that wasn’t a problem at your store. From the moment we walked in everyone looked happy and ushered us in with enthusiasm which made us want to stay and shop there. I will tell you that right after our visit, I walked into Untucked and my experience was horrible. I was the only one in the store and I wasn’t even greeted. Not a hello. Not a welcome. When I asked the sales woman if they had any sales, she said no. As I continued to walk through the store, I ended up finding a small rack of discounted items. I just walked out and told myself that I wouldn’t support this brand any longer. Just like that, they lost a customer. I buy maybe 6 shirts a year. It might not be much but all the 50 people I’ve told about my experience won’t be going back either. Just a hello would have made it all better. So please thank Monica for making Jon and I feel valued and special. She’s definitely an asset to your brand and I hope she’s there for as long as she wants to be. See you all soon. Thank...
Read moreWatch them delete my comment. I’ve worked at rh ever since they opened in March and I’m just not leaving. Let me tell you the truth behind rh Cleveland! First I want to start by saying the establishment is beautiful ! I tell everyone to go look in even if you’re not buying anything it really gives an out of body out of Cleveland experience. Now down to the neaty greedy I knew rh was racist when we had our first orientation but it got worse throughout the time. Not only are they racist they are unprofessional, they truly don’t care about the people they work with that they call “ there people” or the guest people come in sick as a dog into work or with poison ivy they don’t care if the guest or there so called people get sick or about it being unsanitary nope they will let you get sick . 2 leaders quit they were real leaders they really cared and 2 were left Peter and bill both Terrible ! They are never aligned they are not genuine people they are so nonchalant they truly do not care ! It’s so much that goes on in this restaurant it’s to much to even type but I got sick of it sick of them enforcing everything on us that they don’t do ! The negativity the atmosphere the tension the money is not worth it honestly the food is not worth it wait her go somewhere where people genuinely care about you and the food they serve ! The servers are racist the leaders are the gallery people are and I truly got sick of the way it made me feel going into that job ! I realized I deserved better and so do you so do not waste you’re time you’ll be sorry! The relief I felt when I quit realizing I never had to go back to see those people or be in that atmosphere makes me feel amazing! I realized after this I’m done with the restaurant industry and on to big girl things ! I thank rh for being the WORSE place I’ve ever worked at because I would realize my potential and how much I deserve better. Meanwhile I’ve had many jobs but this is the top worse experience I’ve ever had! Bye rh I won’t miss you but I know...
