I want to take a moment to share my thoughts as a guest who has visited your restaurant on three occasions.
First and foremost, I want to commend RH Rooftop on creating one of the most stunning and elegant dining environments in the Cleveland area. The ambience, décor, and atmosphere at RH Rooftop are truly unmatched—it’s a space that invites guests to relax, celebrate, and enjoy every moment.
That said, I do feel that the dining experience would be significantly elevated if the menu matched the excellence of the environment. The flavor of the food is decent, but it hasn’t yet reached the level that would inspire guests to rave about it or return frequently. As someone who would love to treat myself to RH Rooftop on a monthly basis, I urge RH Rooftop to consider refining the menu to better reflect the restaurant’s premium feel.
Here are a few suggestions to consider:
Enhance flavor profiles and presentation: Consider benchmarking high-end establishments like Ruth’s Chris to refine both the taste and visual presentation of dishes.
Expand coffee and dessert selections: A memorable dessert can leave a lasting impression. Options such as a decadent 7-layer carrot cake, rich cheesecake, key lime pie, and a triple-layer chocolate cake would be welcome additions. Pairing those with a premium coffee or espresso bar could turn RH into a go-to spot for after-dinner indulgence.
Seasonal and local features: Incorporating seasonal ingredients or rotating specials featuring local produce and artisanal products could create excitement and encourage return visits.
Add signature dishes: Consider developing a few signature entrées and sides that set RH apart—something unique and bold that becomes a “must-try” experience.
RH Rooftop has everything it needs to be a long-standing favorite in the region. However, once the “newness” fades, the food will need to carry the experience—and right now, it’s not quite there.
Please consider elevating the culinary offerings to match the exquisite atmosphere you’ve so beautifully crafted. I’m rooting for RH Rooftop success and truly want to see RH Rooftop thrive for...

The RH Rooftop Restaurant in Cleveland is a blend of elegance and comfort, offering a dining experience that’s both polished and refreshingly unpretentious.
My meal began with a tall glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade, a bright and refreshing start. Although bread service isn’t a standard here, the server graciously brought out a freshly baked baguette on request, perfectly warm and crisp on the outside with a soft, moist interior. Paired with salted butter, it was a small luxury that set the tone for the evening.
Next, six pieces of grilled shrimp arrived, garnished with a bold mix of lemon butter, garlic, and Calabrian chili. The char on each shrimp delivered a light smoky depth that complemented the zesty spice, highlighting just how well-executed a simple dish can be.
The star of the meal, though, was the 7-ounce center-cut petite fillet, expertly cooked to a perfect 147 degrees. It was topped with herbed butter and béarnaise and served alongside a bright arugula salad with lemon, grilled asparagus, and charred broccolini. Each element showed the kitchen’s commitment to quality ingredients and precise technique, making every bite something to savor.
Despite initially planning to skip dessert, I couldn’t resist the house-made chocolate chip cookies served warm with a sprinkle of sea salt. Paired with a rich mocha cappuccino, the dessert was a comforting close to the evening.
Thank you, Brittany, you made it perfect!

Read moreFirstly the place is amazingly beautiful. The windows, the skylights, the furniture, the fountains, the wine bar. Just a feast for the eyes. Everyone is very friendly and they make you feel very welcome. We went for my birthday dinner and were excited because we love the concept.
We had reservations and were seated immediately. It took a while to be greeted by the server, but she was very friendly when she eventually got to us. I got the feeling that they were very busy. We found the menu to be a little limited when comparing to other restaurants, but we all found a dish that we were interested in. The salmon was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, the broccolini was delicious and the combination of lemon, garlic and char was delicious. The lobster roll was also really flavorful and positively packed with lobster meat and the bread was nicely buttered and grilled. I was very happy with it. My truffle fries were unfortunately overcooked and most of the fries were essentially hollow. The burger was a very good burger, the meat was very tasty, but the star of the burger was the thick bacon. My friend was very happy with it and raved about the bacon for the rest of the night. The Caesar salad was also great, the Parmesan cheese is clearly high quality and had just the right amount of bite. The croutons were really great as well.
The only things we didn't enjoy was the fact that the restaurant is very cold and definitely has a draft, it's difficult to tell where the draft is coming from but you sure feel it. We never removed our outerwear because we were so cold. From the drinks to the food, everything we ordered seemed to take a very long time to be delivered and the temp on some of the food items were lukewarm. But overall, the food was good and very flavorful. It's a newly opened restaurant so I think that the kinks will eventually be worked out. They have all the right ingredients to make...
