I just ordered a new pair of Oliver frames because of there smaller sized lenses, but noticed a "creak" sound on the hinges. And while also placing them on my face.
I visited store location for assistance. Greeted by a check-in welcome staff. Then serviced by a second staff lubricating the hinges. When they saw the lube wasn't entirely working, she gave my glasses to a technician in the back to resize frame. Lastly, a fourth customer service member gave me my glasses and waited to see if the "creaking" sound stopped. It did. Then she shared low down on what they did, why it was creaking, and continued to share that while frames are guaranteed for a month any unusual breakage of the frame is covered by a manufacturer warranty for a year.
I have also called corporate customer service on other questions and they have so much passion about glasses.
I will definitely be back for sunglasses! Fast forward five months later... I purchased a pair of Whitter sunglasses. Very nice frames, but proved to be heavy on my face due to my prescription. Customer service assured me that the weight wasn't going to leave marks on my nose. Time for an exchange had passed, but I told customer service the whole story. "Well, I would have purchased the high index version of my prescription, but was told I wouldn't need to." Customer service: "I'm sorry about that, what we can do is if you pay $120 more we can send you the high index?" I had thought they would have just replaced my prescription with the high index option as a courtesy for previous misinformation.
I hung up and called customer service, again. This customer service representative was so much better! Very empathetic, acknowledged my situation, and I was able to get an exchange for a pair of Perkins sunglasses, which are feather light, soft on my nose, and amazing! Thank you so much Alejandro, I hope Warby uses your wonderful customer service skills to...
Read moreLet me preface this review by saying that I'm a fan of Warby Parker. They have interesting and good looking classes for all sorts of styles with good construction at very reasonable prices. That's not why I'm leaving this review. Warby Parker at Pinecrest gets 5 stars from me because of their phenomenal staff.
I came to Warby Parker intent on getting a pair of glasses, but I didn't know what I wanted. I'm a man who's very mindful of his style and also self-conscious of what others think, and I didn't want such a core part of my appearance to be a dud. I knew I wanted Warby Parker's staff to apply their great personal style and expert knowledge of their glasses inventory. I came in and gave them my shpiel about what I wanted: stylish, different, but not out there, and certainly not boring. It needed character - something truly me.
Staff members started picking out options that they thought would suit my face shape and my personal style. They took my feedback and kept working with it, being patient with me as I handed back what I didn't like. We probably went through 30 pairs of glasses, laughing and joking around about this and that all the while. In the end, I settled on one of the first pairs of glasses that was handed to me, but only after coming back to it after half an hour of trying different styles. I settled on Yardley in Blue Marbled Tortoise for $95, and I love 'em. Can't wait for them to come in.
At Warby Parker, you will find pleasant and fun staff members who will help you find a pair of glasses that speaks to you and makes you happy. I know I sure did. Can't wait to come back for my next prescription. And who knows, if my glasses need to be adjusted a sminch, I might be back in...
Read moreWorst customer service experience of my life. Do not even bother to make an “appointment” online prior to visiting this location because they will not honor it. I had an appointment scheduled for 11am. I live 40 minutes away from this location (closest one to me), and when I knew I was going to be 5-10 minutes late because you know — traffic, life happens, etc. — I tried calling the store only to be greeted by a recording. So there was no possible way for me to communicate with this store in regards to my appointment time. I arrived at my “appointment” at 11:12. The associate told me that they only hold your appointment for 5 minutes, but she personally holds them for 10 minutes. So, it being 11:12, she had given my appointment away, and the best she could do was to put me on a waiting list that would be around 40 minutes long. Wait, I’m sorry, you’re telling me that you bend the rules when it’s convenient for you (give people 10 minutes instead of 5), but because I was 2 MINUTES out of that time frame, you gave my appointment away? And if Joe Bologna in the back decided he would give people 13 minutes, and he helped me instead, my appointment would have been honored? What an absolute joke! Then the associate had the nerve to tell me that I was welcome to “shop around at other stores in the area” while I wait. I’m sorry, if I had time to do that, do you really think I would bother booking an appointment in advance? I have been an outstanding customer of Warby Parker for years and I am so sad to say that they have lost my business today. I wouldn’t bother shopping at this location, just do yourself a favor and...
