FIRST OF ALL… I want you to understand WHY I am taking the time out to write this review and I am hoping that you find this review useful and that you find it very helpful in your future dining experience with Kitchen Social. My first experience here was UNBELIEVABLY satisfying to my soul! My entire visit besides eating their wonderfully made dishes, was that I couldn’t take my eyes off the movement of its employees! I have NEVER been to any restaurant in Ohio and seen “so much teamwork” in my entire! Every worker was “on beat” … and let’s keep it real: these people were (hand in hand) assisting each other with smiles! (you don’t see that too often). They didn’t appear to be stressed, and the energy displayed showed me that they were happy to be there… and with that said; everything about that touched me in every way, and that amazing in itself! My second, third, fourth and fifth visit was remarkably the same! All of this took place in (one month’s) time; so as you can see I enjoy dining here! Last but not least: MR. DEREK! YOU ARE FAR BEYOND THE MOST PERSONAL, UNDERSTANDING, and FRESHEST MANAGER OF ALL TIME! The reason I say “freshest” is because my conversation with you was so smooth and your delivery was of no other I’ve experienced in the food industry! You are doing great at keeping your employees on point with customer satisfaction! 💯 To have a passion such as yours in the food business is everything to me! You hold such an amazing energy and that needs to be shared and acknowledged! To all the employees at KITCHEN SOCIAL… thank you for your continued commitment in serving your customers nothing but the best! Enjoy the drink photos … “the food is in my stomach” so you know it was good! 😉 And it was an honor to share my experience with the public! Thanks a mil,

So let me first give the rating 10/10. This is our first ever 10/10. I just want you to understand this restaurant right here run not walk but run and go call in your reservation. Yes you will need reservations. We wanted to go last Friday and could not get in so call now set your reservation up. I really don’t know where to start with this restaurant. It is new to the Cleveland area there are some locations in southern Oh. First we had the biscuits. Hunny … wooo. This bread right here with the honey butter and jalapeño pieces. All you really need is this bread and a drink and you would but good. For appetizers: crispy Thai shrimp. Oh so good. Drinks: socially caffeinated and bubbles and flowers. $10 drinks made to perfection Main course: mushrooms and honey glazed pizza, fish and chips, blacken shrimp capellini , and the 6 oz fillet. There were 5 of us on this business meeting. Everyone at the table. Was in food heaven. The most expensive was the fillet that was $29. The other meals were $15 and under. Desert: Brown Butter Cake. Lord have mercy this was amazing. The service was outstanding. Very attentive staff. Manager kept coming over asking us if we need anything asking how was the meal. One of the head managers that was in town from Columbus came over and talk to us for awhile. There is nothing that this restaurant could have done to make our visit better. I don’t think we got pictures of all the food. We were too busy eating lol. We will do better next time. But listen hear run don’t walk pick up the phone and go to this restaurant. One more thing they have a really nice happy hour. I should not be telling you all that because when I want to go it will be to crowed for me to get in. #angelawynnett #clegrub #explife

We are from Pittsburgh. We discovered Kitchen Social in Polaris on a weekend trip to Columbus in December 2021. It was awesome. We loved it! So we looked forward to the Cleveland opening for months, and we were there the first weekend it was open last July. Food, energy, and owner attention to detail were all top notch. We vowed to make a trip back again for a special occasion. Fast forward to Valentine’s Day 2023: I made a reservation and my wife and I made the two hour drive for dinner. First impression - wow, half empty on V-Day? Then the music chosen by a 20-year-old - felt like I was in the mall. The vibe was a bit off to say the least. Appetizer (Thai shrimp) was tasty and probably the highlight of the meal. Biscuits were the same taste as before but very greasy — not buttery greasy but just greasy — you know and remember that taste and smell. My wife’s entree was okay (veggie pasta) but nothing special. My fish and chips were grossly overcooked in the fryer and the fries were too salty. It was V-Day with the wife so didn’t want to cast a pall over the meal by sending it back. Service was fine. We were very disappointed but at least we had a nice day in Cleveland beforehand. But we will certainly not make a drive back to Cleveland for Kitchen Social. There’s something really odd going on because the Columbus location was vastly better, as was this restaurant on opening weekend. What happened? Edited to downgrade to 1 star. This experience was so disappointing and frankly I’m still mad about it. Drove all the way from Pittsburgh for this?! Also, a note about the environs: parking deck had strong smell of weed. My wife used the public bathroom right outside the garage and a man walked and said something to her. Frankly I wonder if this is a safe area.

The reason I gave four stars to the service is because of the “host” and no more. We were waiting for a table of four for extended time, then I noticed that there are couple available tables while the three young hosts are just chatting and playing with their phones, I nicely asked one of the them “how long left to get our table “, she looked on the tablet and figured out there are few available!! The waiter was super friendly and professional “i think his name is Moos”, he checked on us few times and was available for help even though the place was super busy. We ordered two “double stacked burgers” and two noodles. The order came quick and the burger was super delicious, I wish they had more sides “either fries or small salad, but it’s fine”, the boys liked the noodles, I took some and it was good! Dessert was very delicious. We liked the place, so we went after 5 days to try the burgers again, it was delicious. The place seems to be clean as well. I hope they will close the side door where all the cold airflow comes when customers leave… instead they can use the main door, it’s freezing in Cleveland at this time of the year. Prices are acceptable

Really awesome food and drinks! This place definitely lived up to the hype. We started off with the cheddar scallion biscuits, they came up super quick and were so delicious. The honey butter on top was a nice sweet contrast to the savory biscuits. We didn’t get a picture because they were so good and we polished them off immediately. Someone at my table started with a side Sonoma Caesar salad, also not pictured, and the portion was huge!! Love how they added the avocado and peppers to that. Our group tried the Tuna Bowl, Griddled Harissa Chicken, and the Shrimp Tempura Bowl. All were very nicely presented and were incredible tasting, it was difficult to choose a favorite because we liked all three! It was my birthday and they gave me a complimentary dessert, so I chose the Strawberry Biscuit Crunch. I would describe it as an interesting spin on a strawberry shortcake. The drinks were a bit slow to be served but we didn’t mind because they always kept our waters topped off. The staff was very friendly. I cannot wait to come back!! There’s so many interesting things left on the menu to try.
