I’ve been a Nordstrom shopper for many years over 15 plus years. The past few years this store has lacked customer service and I’ve had a few poor expierences the last few times I’ve gone in to shop. I decided to try again shopping here because it’s been awhile. Today the store opened at 10 am. It was 1/23/25. I was there when they first opened. I received a Xmas gift from Nordstroms not a designer item or an item I couldn’t return at their store. The cashier a young lady in her early 20s thin darkier skin was terrible. Never said hello good morning nothing. At this point I knew her demeanor was going to be negative the rest of the transaction. She was unhelpful trying to help me return this item like she didn’t want to be bothered. I was trying to avoid going to oak brook due to small children and infants with me. So now due to the lack of service I had to drive to another store for them to better assist me and help me return my item. I even called before going to this store and they had looked up my item to be returned.After this experience I doubt I’d ever return back to this store. This store hadn’t been the same since they first opened and had better staff and management. I went to the actual Nordstroms store and received better service that Nordstroms is known for. Read moreReally upset with my experience at this store. Very polite cashier reps. My issue takes place with the manager on duty that was working close on 12/16. The time was 7:50pm the doors were not locked and I had finished making a purchase. After I left I looked online and found the same item I had just purchased for $25 cheaper at Target down the street. So I head back to the store to return this item and the time is 8:02pm and the store was still full of shoppers. The doors were still not locked since they opened as I approached and the manager stood in front of me to not let me back in. I attempted to say anything but she immediately interrupted me and kept repeating her self like a robot not giving me a chance to say a word. The amount of time it would take to return this item would have been less than that confrontation.... I'm making sure my family and friends never set foot in that store again. Read moreI walked in 7/2/2021 around 5:36 to make a return. There was a clear mistake in the system from a previous return on the same receipt. Instead of the manger hearing me out and helping me with my return she chose to response very loudly in a store full of people. She kept stating that I was not understanding the issue and should call the number online to resolve my issue. The girl at the register understood when I was saying and even tried to explain it to the manger as well. The manger also proceeded to cut her off as well. Absolutely horrible Custer service.
