I recently had an unfortunate experience at Michael Kors. While I was spending a significant amount of money, my five-year-old urgently needed to use the bathroom. Despite pleading with the sales representatives, one was very apologetic and understanding, while the other was dismissive and rude. We were told only a manager could authorize bathroom use, and the manager wasn’t on duty. This led to an embarrassing and avoidable situation for my child.
When I asked the apologetic representative if she could escort my son to the bathroom, she explained that it wasn’t allowed without a manager. The rude representative then added that there was product stored in the back, so we couldn’t be escorted. I said, “Please escort us so you can be assured no product is tampered with.” She then responded that product was stored in the bathroom as well. If you shop at this Michael Kors store, do what you can to ensure the product you purchase wasn’t stored in the bathroom.
I understand that bathrooms may not always be available to customers, but when you’re a paying customer in a special situation like a five-year-old urgently needing to go, you would expect some accommodation.
Additionally, I understand that Michael Kors and Prada are not on the same level of luxury, but you would still expect the same level of customer service given their similar calibers of product. For a better customer experience, I recommend heading to Prada, just a one-minute walk away. They not only allow access to their bathroom but also offer water and exceptional service.
This review is more directed toward the company rather than the individual store. I normally don’t write negative reviews, but I recently had another disappointing experience with Michael Kors. I was 10 days outside of the 30-day return policy due to travel, and my wife hadn’t tried on the sunglasses I purchased for her. Despite the fact that the sunglasses were unused and in perfect condition, they were unwilling to make an exception or accommodate the return.
While I understand I was outside the return window, with the amount of money I spend at Michael Kors, this level of inflexibility is disappointing and will make me reconsider switching to a higher-end brand that provides better...
Read moreKristina Trentacosti was the store manager on duty who was working at this store in the term from the Fort Lauderdale Store (2414 East Sunrise Blvd). I brought my bag in explaining that I cannot get the blue jean dye off and brought in the cleaner and the soft cloth to see if they maybe had something different. Sadly, it could not be cleaned, and she did everything she could. She then helped me find a new bag and wallet and took her time to explain caring for it, how to wear it, the best wallet to put in the bag and just above and beyond. She even helped my husband with watches. She wrapped everything up and knew I was having a bad day as I had just left the LV Store to be told that my secondhand bag was not authentic and I also went to TB as the same thing happened with the blue dye, and the associate could care less and offered no assistance. Kristina was a breath of fresh air after just coming from the LV and...
Read moreI recently had a great experience shopping at this online store, especially during their sales events. The promotions they offer truly stand out, as they feature some incredible deals that significantly reduce the prices of various items, making them far more affordable. However, I did notice that outside of these promotional periods, the prices can be quite steep, which is something to keep in mind if you're planning to shop there. For anyone looking to get the best value for their money, it's definitely a good idea to stay on the lookout for those discounts and sales. In fact, I ended up completing a significant portion of my Christmas shopping through this store, finding excellent gifts at prices that felt very reasonable for the...
