Read moreThis review is a reflection of the horrible non existent property management - Simons. I had to take my 4-year-old to the washroom near the Calvin Klein store. There was already a lineup of 10 people - muen and women. Went to the front to see if the family washroom was available and someone was using it. This is because cleaning stuff decided to close both the men's and women's washroom at the same time. When they came out of the washroom I had asked if I could have my kid use the washroom as it was an emergency and their excuse was that there was no more toilet paper. 1) the cleaning lady had a roll of toilet paper right on her cart 2) how is it possible that they ran out of toilet paper in both the men's and women's washroom? Honestly no consideration of a kid who really can't wait to use the washroom? When I went to guest services, the lady there said she couldn't do anything. It's the weekend so management is not working. How is it possible that it's the busiest day of the week (Saturday) and there's nobody within management that is working? What a f-en joke of an organization. Simon's get your act together!
The selection of retailers is good. The property though is outdated and property management pretty much doesn't exist
Update: went to the washroom in the food court and out of the five or six sinks, none of them had any soap left. In the meantime, the cleaning stuff was in the washroom. The floors were completely wet and there's no soap? Does...
Read moreWe arrived at Orlando Premium Outlets at about 1030am in the morning.
READY. TO. SHOP.
We love shopping at the Premium Outlets in USA because the deals are real. Having shopped at outlets during our travels, we found USA discounts to be deeper and they also allow more “stacking” of discounts. This time, we started with Kate Spade where Kate bought a pair of shoes at 70% + 20% off. Kate also taught Tom that this DOES NOT mean 90% off but a further 20% off, after first applying the 70% discount. For instance, if an item cost $100, after 70% discount, it would be $30 and after a further 20%, it would be $24 (instead of $10 if it were 90% off).
We also saw a Carlos (aka Cake Boss) “Bake Shop” machine. Since we had visited Cake Boss in Hoboken but had not tried their cake proper before, we decided to give it a try this time. We chose the carrot cake ($9.5) and it turned out to be VERY good! The cake was actually moist and the cream cheese was not too sweet either. The portion was huge and there were some nice spices within that makes you want to have one mouth after another. Probably the 2nd best carrot cake, after the carrot cake we had in Chicago.
