pOpshelf — Local services in Orlando

So happy to stumble across this store. My new fav, I love it so much I was kind of hesitant to write this review letting everyone know about this place because I don’t want it to get crowded. But oh well!

This location has been open since January 2023. It is like the target version of the dollar store. Which conveniently both stores are right around this area too. I would also describe it like the five below for millennials or people who are older than middle/ high school maybe college age as well. The price range lines up with five below too. It is so quaint and cute. The sections of the store are home, home decor, party decor, seasonal decor, crafts, jewelry, toys, cleaning supplies, tech, beauty section and even a food section. It is so cost friendly! But not only dollar store, or dollar section of target quality. They have a little bit more.

What surprised me is that they also have name brand products that I would actually buy at target or other stores in the beauty, cleaning and food sections.

Cool things I’ve noticed here, they sell and blow up beautiful helium balloons for parties. Like the dollar store but the balloons look a little bit more classier. Just a dollar more per balloon. I also loved their crafts section, as a person who frequents the local craft stores often it looked stocked with things I would use. I would definitely run in here and grab something for a project instead of dragging myself into a big craft store. I also loved their little baking section. They have different baking and cake decorations I would use often.

A nice touch is the real paper mall type shopping bags when checking out. Which is free by the way. There is self check out. And ample parking outside.

Sign up for rewards on their website. Like I did. And no I don’t work here lol but it seems like I’ll be swinging by this place...

Amazing! We weren't expecting much from this store, thinking it'd be similar to "dollar" stores. Instead, it was an absolute delight! High-quality merchandise in many categories, at irresistible prices. Our favorite discovery was their stock of fountain pens - small, disposable ones - in many colors and at absurdly low prices. (They seem to last forever, btw.)

We've returned to this store and other pOpshelf stores regularly, knowing that even if they're a bit off the main roads and highways, they're worth visiting. We always leave with about twice as many items as we'd expected.

I have been looking for a place to get really nice balloons now that party city has went out of business. I heard about this place and took a short drive there. I was very impressed by all the things that they have. Great prices, big selections and highly recommended place to get cute unique gifts for kids or even adults. They had a decent selection of balloons but a few of them deflated before I could take them out of the car and they came apart where they were supposed be secured together the air just came out. Another balloon I got that was supposed to stand also fell apart so I would say quality isn’t too great. I will be back for...
