Highly disappointed & disrespected!! I stopped by the jewelry counter. First, there was no, "Hello, how may I help you, or is there anything you'd like to see?" After seeing something, I said to the associate, " When you have a moment, I'd like to see an item. "Another lady there as well after me said,"When you're done with her, I'd like to see something as well." The associate immediately turned to assist her. Other than a difference in race or her worried I'd rob her, I'm confused as to why the associate proceeded in that manner, especially without any word to me. I walked right away to refrain from saying anything. Management, I'm a very kind person who bypasses so much that this was just truly unacceptable!! I was with my husband there to purchase (let me be careful not to say grab) a few items needed in preparation for our anniversary dinner that evening. Thank you ma'am for ruining that little moment of my day. Please consider another career if your preference on how to assist customers is unethical!! I am SO happy I decided to stop by T.J. Maxx for my Christmas shopping! Matt was extremely helpful I was looking for a specific Bluetooth speaker for for my son and we found the exact one I was looking for online in the store for half the price. I also found a designer purse very expensive brand not typically in stores I was really impressed. I didn't catch the girls name she just started but she went out of her way to help me get it priced. I had been looking for a gift for my daughter who is graduating this year, it was perfect! I got a great deal! I browsed the jewelry and I ended up buying out some gold as well..a little gift for myself =) All in all it was a wonderful experience. I'd definitely head that way! I normally really like TJ Max I have shopped at several locations in several states. This location was awful in my opinion. While I do understand that the shop is more geared towards women, as a male I felt more out of place here then any location I have e been to before. Not only is their men's selection awful, with minimal selection and no socks under a size ten (I checked ever pair at the time), but when I asked for aid from an employee they treated me poorly and acted like they simply do not want men shopping there. Except for Maddie; she did a wonderful job and I'm giving an extra star just for her. Frankly I will not be going back to this location. I have yet to try the one on Broadway since moving to Arizona, but I hope I have better...
