I bought winter boots and good winter gloves so I could clear the snow from my driveway when I got home. Once I got home, I couldn't use anything because the manager who did the transaction was so nervous about the snow that he forgot to take the security tags off. When i called to ask him how I could remove the tags, he said he couldn't help me with that today. He sounded very nervous. I asked him if he was alright. He said he wanted to get home to Grand Rapids quickly before the snow got bad. I understand it is a 50 mile drive. But, he should finish his responsibilities at the store before he focuses on personal concerns. I tried to tell him the conditions of US-131. I had driven 16 miles a half hour earlier. But, he couldn't listen long enough for me to tell him the plows are keeping the right lanes clear. The left lanes have snow, but are drivable. He constantly interrupted me and kept on talking over me. He obviously though that anything I had to say wasn't important enough for him to listen to. It is a poor leader who panics in times of stress. He never appologized for the mistake he made. He was so fixated on the snow that he couldn't think of anything else. He didn't even have the composure to listen to a customer's concern. The conversation would have been more productive and a lot shorter if he would have just relaxed and listened...
Read moreIt's unfortunate that a store with the selection that Dunham's has to offer, can be such a poor experience. With the technology that we have in 2018, it's beyond me why Dunham's has such an archaic system. I didn't have the receipt from a gift that my wife gave me. Most stores either honor their product or look up your credit card to see that it was purchased from their store. Not Dunham's. I was given an Under Armour pullover that was a color I already had. All I wanted to do was exchange it for a different color. I wasn't asking for a refund or store credit, just an exchange. Tags were still on the item. Didn't matter though, because their policy doesn't allow any working with a customer. Needless to say, I still have the pullover. Hopefully Dunham's joins 2018-19 and fixes their poor for...
Read moreTHIS IS WHY BRICK AND MORTAR STORES ARE SOOO IMPORTANT. **I went in looking for cold weather, boys outdoor leggings, and matching long sleeve top. Found two options, on sale! BUT I KEPT FINDING GREAT STUFF, AT A GREAT PRICE! I Found SO MANY GREAT DEALS... I ended up buying yet another pair of leggings for myself, on sale from 68 for only $10, and two funny golf shirts, and a hat for my son. I NEEDED TWO ITEMS. I Left HAPPY WITH 6. And SPENT 130.00, INSTEAD Of $29.00.
But, had I ordered online, I would have bought the two cheapest items I could find, and been done.
Dear store / stock owners: STOP "SELLING" out to these awful, so called investment firms. It's a SCAM. They are going to load the company with Their Own Bad Debt. And RUIN IT - FOR literally...
