Never again. When I get food, I remember every food service job I've ever had (lots), so I'm polite, patient, and follow directions. I say please, I say thank you, I say have a good day. That's ALL I can do to hopefully convince the people working that I'm worthy of decent service and half-decent food. I got neither, yesterday. Pulled up to the drive-thru with no line -- nobody else was there at dinner-time (warning). I order, I say please, I say thank you, I pull around, I pay, and when asked if I can pull forward to the garbage can, I pull forward knowing fully-well it's so their point-of-sale will stop the customer service clock, giving their system the FALSE impression I was helped and sent in under two minutes. I do it anyway. And I wait. And wait. I watch two cars pull in, order, get their food, and drive away. And I wait. Almost 15 minutes. Until eventually, someone brings me my food, barely taking the time to make a half-hearted excuse about the broiler. There was nothing wrong with the broiler -- they forgot I was there. It happens. Not my worst experience.
No, not my worst experience. That came several hours later when I realized there was something very, very wrong with my stomach. I'll spare you the truly grizzly details. I've experienced severe cramps and discomfort before, but the pain was so horrific that when it finally subsided, I passed out. That's why I'm leaving this review at 4:30am. I have no idea whether they simply don't peel their onions or if they dual-purpose the burger wraps as toilet paper, but I will never -- and I mean NEVER -- patronize this establishment again. I'd rather eat glass because it would be...
Read moreI believe this is probably one of the better Burger Kings’ in Kalamazoo. Anyone know a better one? Just like with most fast food restaurants, depending on the time I go, the quality in food may shift up or down a few points on the Fresh/Flavor scale. The quality to me has always been 7.9 out of 10 or higher. If there is one complaint, and idk if this only happens to me…but for some reason, I keep getting shorted on the bacon. To me, bacon is the best part of a burger. I will forgo a burger if there is no bacon on it. It has happened so many times, I kinda snapped at one of the guys working the drive through one day when my order didn’t have any bacon on it again. It definitely was not his fault and I publicly apologize. Anyways, I refused the burger and was given a refund. I just want bacon equality amongst all whoopers. I went to drive through today (12/23/24) around 1PM. Before pulling off, my brother suggested I check my sandwich for bacon because his bacon senses were tingling or something. Long story short…The lady was nice enough to hand me some more bacon ya’ll Lol. I understand it’s the same difference, but to me, there is a difference between a bacon and cheese whopper, and a whopper that was made regularly and then someone added bacon and/or cheese after it was done. I still like...
Read moreEverytime I come to this location something is messed up rather it be my sandwich being made wrong, my fries being cold or my drink being made wrong. I almost always order one of their new frosted frozen drinks because I prefer it with the ice cream in it but EVERYTIME they make a regular frozen drink instead of the frosted that I asked for. Usually it’s earlier in the day so I take it inside and they fix it. Tonight they told me you no longer carry the frosted lemonade so I decided to try the frosted Fanta, we get our drinks and food and my husband starts to pull off when I notice the drink is wrong. I tried to go inside but the lobby was closed and the line was super long so I decided to call. I’ve called the store 8 times and nobody is picking up. It may not seem like that big of a deal but it’s really frustrating when your constantly spending money at a place and they can’t even get the simplest thing right! The crazy part is your employees (the ones I’ve encountered) are WONDERFUL! I guess maybe some of them just need a little more training in some areas? Idk but I will be calling back first thing in...
