Escape nail spa — Local services in Oxford Township

i’ve been here twice and the first time i came for a full set and pedicure and they did a perfect job. the second time, not so much. i got the acrylics removed, and the woman just violently pried them off, ripping my natural nail in half. it was bleeding everywhere and she just painted the gel right over the scabs like it was nothing. it hurt so much and i am still in pain right now. feels like i can’t touch anything. also, this time my pedicure was sloppy. the layers of polish are clearly seen and it is not a smooth, even color. totally not worth 90 dollars when i have gotten better service at other places for 65. i would say do not come here if you’re getting your acrylics removed. go somewhere that you know soaks them off instead of ripping them off your nail. it’s really a toss-up with this one, they either do amazing or terrible. either way, it’s super expensive. the people who work there are very quiet so sometimes it’s hard to figure out what they want you to do and it gets awkward. if they are working on other people when you come in, they don’t greet you. it’s also a little weird how they only take cash because not many people carry 100+ dollars in cash with them...

I went to this salon today to get my nails and toes done. They have posted that they don’t take credit cards so I asked if they take checks and the girl said no. I proceeded to ask how much my service would be so I could go get cash and she told me. Before I could walk away another customer said you don’t take a check and she said yes, you are ok. I then said do you won’t take a check from me but you will another customer? No thanks. My check cashs the same as another customer. How do you run a business with...

My friends and I have been looking for a place where we could all get our nails done together but none of the places seemed to have enough chairs to get our nails all done at once, UNTIL we found Escape Nail Salon! If that wasn't exciting enough, they also were the nicest people and did an amazing job on my nails. The massage that comes with the mani/pedi was also incredible. I hate it when places barely massage your hands and feet but they spent a solid 5 minutes each! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Cannot wait to go...
