Welsh-Stewart House LLC — Hotel in Oxford Township

Our stay in the Welsh-Stewart House was purely delightful! Situated on the west end of High Street, the historic house is beautifully restored with all the amenities. We came to Oxford over Miami Orientation during a heat wave and, to be honest, I was a little concerned about the AC in an older home, but the suite was a delightful haven to escape the heat. We did a little getaway for a couple days in Oxford and stayed in the Welsh suite with the screened in porch. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The woodwork and antiques in the suite were well preserved; we felt like we were sitting in an authentic Victorian parlor. The house is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The hosts really went out of their way to make it an outstanding stay with an abundance of snacks and beverages and even mailing an important item I left behind. Stayed in the Screened Porch Suite for Miami Freshmen drop-off last month - everything was beyond perfect. The entire suite was immaculate! Kudos to Kelly and family for the little extras they provide their guests to make us feel at home. So many snacks and coffee pods that we really didn't need a grocery stop.
