I strongly caution anyone consider using this business. Once you give them your money, they don't care one bit.
So far my experience with this local business has been abysmal. I regret using them, and I wished that I had gone to another retailer to buy the audio equipment.
You see, the right rear speaker in my car was distorted to the point that it was difficult to use. So, I took my car in July 12th for a new stereo receiver and new speakers if the right rear speaker was bad. I picked my car up the next day, he had installed two new speakers in the rear. The installer said that he could not play any music because my phone didn't have a music app on it. He told me to take it home to "play with it", and call him if I have questions.
By the following Monday, I uploaded music to my phone, and discovered that the same right rear speaker sounded the same as it did before. I took it back by this business Wednesday let the installer hear the speaker. We agreed to leave it again on that following Friday to repair on Saturday morning again.
When I arrived late Friday afternoon. I was told by the installer, "you can't leave your car here, nobody will be here tomorrow". I explained that I work full time, and I have three spinal treatments during the week (I was in the March 2021 tornado in Ohatchee). I told him that I didn't have time for this, and the installer told me then I "shouldn't bring [the car] back then" and for me not "to get smart with [him]". So the installer drove off the parking lot of the business and left me standing there.
I am going to try again this week to get it resolved, but it looks like I still have the same problem as I had before, but now I'm out $1,000 dollars.
Update: the following day the owner asked me to bring it in again, and now it's working properly. They also did a good...
Read moreIâve already left my review once, but Iâm going to make this one so clear and airtight that thereâs nothing the owner or anyone at Wizard in Oxford, Alabama can say to spin it.This isnât a personal attack. This is my real experience as a paying customerâand if you canât handle honest feedback, that says more about your business than it does about me.
I came in ready to do business. What I got instead was: ⢠Disrespectful tone ⢠Zero professionalism ⢠Ridiculous pricing ($800 for a tint job with a $600 roll? Seriously?) ⢠And absolutely no effort to provide real customer service
You can try to justify your behavior all you wantâbut the truth is, customers remember how theyâre treated, and I was treated like a burden for simply asking questions. If the response to criticism is defensiveness instead of growth, that tells me everything I need to know. This review isnât up for debate. Itâs my experience, and itâs...
Read moreLet me save yâall some timeâWizard car audio in Oxford, Alabama is a damn joke. Walked in hoping to spend money and support a local shop, and instead got met with attitude, zero help, and the most unprofessional, low-class energy Iâve ever seen from a business owner. Dude acted like answering a simple question was beneath him.
They quoted me $800 for a tint job and had the nerve to say a roll of tint costs $600 like thatâs supposed to justify the price. You serious, bro? If it takes a whole roll of tint to do one truck, you donât need to be in businessâyou need to be in training.
This place operates like itâs above customers, when in reality itâs giving backyard hustle with gas station customer service. No professionalism, no respect, just pure nonsense.
If you like overpaying to be disrespected, this is your spot. If not, run the other way. I wouldnât let these folks tint my sunglasses, let...
