Los Mexicanos Restaurante — Restaurant in Oxford

This is the second time I have attempted to eat at this establishment. The first time my husband and I walked in and asked for a table. It was midday and they weren’t that busy. But the host said they were on a wait. So I said that’s fine. But then another family walked in and she seated them immediately. This time I tired to give the place another shot and my husband and I came in and we asked for a table to the side that was open. She said there’s a couple that already has that table. So we said that’s fine we just need a table for two. Then all of a sudden she had a wait for tables after she was just about to seat us. It’s the same old lady host who seems to have an issue. This past weekend we had family traveling through going to a wedding and agreed we would all meet at Los Mexicanos. I called ahead and they told us that my husband and I could seat early to accommodate the 8 of us............A wide assortment of menu items were ordered and I was amazed to see things I've never ordered before but probably will now in the future. All of our out-of-town family said it was one of the best Mexican Restaurants they had ever eaten at. The chips were warm, the salsa was spicy and our waiter did all he could to accomodate everyone. The food is delicious here . I have been to this restaurant only a handful of times in the past 5 years because the servers are so rude. We decided to go again recently to give it another chance because surely all the staff can’t be rude, however I was very wrong . I have two kiddos and I requested a booth after the server almost put us at a table (it was not busy at all) I guess that ticked him off because he would only respond to my husband after that , after my husband placed his order , I placed my kids order and he walked away without taking my order , I had to call after him to get him to come back.
