We thoroughly enjoyed the shop. We live near the Bremen location and frequent there, but this was our first time visiting the Oxford location and are enjoying our purchases.

That being said, it was not a pleasure for you to have one of your children, a boy about 12-14 in a pink shift, follow us around the whole shop to make sure we weren't stealing. Mind you, we weren't there to steal so his presence didn't bother us, but it's the principle. You saw 2 tattooed guys come in together, and I'm guessing that isn't your usual clientel, so you had to tail us. It made us feel very unwelcome and judged.

I get that you have to watch for shoplifters, but you need to be more discreet. I did that job for a big box retailer for a few years, and, number one rule is, if they notice you more than twice, you're not doing your job well. He literally followed us everywhere. I found Apple Barrel Antiques on Facebook and seen all the photos that they post every day showing the stuff that they have in their store and I wanted to go there so bad to find me a farmhouse buffet and decor but it was a little over two hours drive so I had to wait on my hubby to take me in his truck which took about 2 months! It was worth the wait and the drive! They have so many beautiful things! From antiques to farmhouse furniture and decor, you’re bound to find lots of beautiful things to buy! I found my buffet and I absolutely love it! The folks working there are so nice and the gentleman behind the counter came out and helped my hubby load it on the truck. Super nice people! Coming from someone who has been in customer service for over 30 years in both corporate and retail, I want to let you know that we felt completely disrespected by the lady with the fake eyelashes. May I suggest some customer service training for her. I do not know her role fully. If she is the owner then how disturbing. We purchased something and then ran over to look at another booth for a second and she high tailed it down there to beat us and watch us and was very much obvious. Subtlety is not her forte. Just prior to this she was rude to me when I asked her if I could leave something at the counter while we looked up stairs. I wasn't going to send this but have since decided someone needs to know.
