First i would like to thank all of the management staff and service department staff involved with my experience at Alexander Buick GMC. The sales Manager's Peter and Moises are truly great professionals. Both Gentlemen has integrity and stand on their word. I needed some areas corrected on my vehicle and they said they would take care of it and they did without any hassle. This brings me to Ruben the service manager. Ruben addressed my vehicle issues that was noted at the time of purchase, he was able to resolve all my issues in an expedient manner. Alexander Buick got the right person for the service department professional and great person. I'll be remised if i didn't provide a review on my actual salesmen, Arvin. Arvin started out very nice, he greeted me when i showed up at the dealership, very cordial throughout the transactions of my purchase. The next day i called Arvin to let him know of some issues i found that morning. Arvin response was "its a used car it can't be perfect" which i understand but what i was telling him could of been address, then he was suggesting my issues were caused by me. I spent just about 90k and this is how Arvin treated me less than 12 hours after the sale was final. Arvin rushed to get off the phone with me. I guess i was no longer a value customers since the sale was done. Arvin was suppose to keep me inform on the parts that he ordered to address the issues on my vehicle. I purchase the car before the labor day holiday so i knew it could take a little time to receive the parts.I called Arvin on Friday 6 Sep 2024 to inquire about the parts he started arguing with me telling me once again he was busy. He told me it was up to me to call to set up an appointment, mind you this was never discussed and he totally forget to follow up with my other issues. I finally called Arvin to inquire about the parts, he informed me that i needed to make a appointment's with the service department because he doesn't know my schedule. I would of been fine doing so, however Arvin told me once the parts arrived i would just have to come back to have them installed, the problem Arvin was supposed to call me to come back. He told me it was up to me to call to set up an appointment, mind you this was never discussed and he totally forget to follow up with my other issues. Ruben called me that night and explained what needs to happen, once again Ruben was totally professional and he never meet me but he was doing his job and treated me very well. Arvin discounted me because the sale was made and i was of no longer use to him. The Team Peter, Moises and Ruben from service made up for his lack of professionalism and treated me well with the upmost respect.
I would definitely recommend my friends and colleagues to Alexander Buick GMC, however i would advise not to work with...
Read moreI had a horrible experience with the service department. We took our car in like we always have since May 2020 for its regular oil change and we mentioned that we also wanted the car checked for 3 other issues, them being that the ac wasn’t working properly, the car shakes when we use the breaks, and that the break lights don’t work (most concerning issue). They tell us to come back 3 days later to check those 3 things, the morning when we drop off the car we specifically ask how much it’ll cost to check the car and they said $235 however upon picking up the car they charge us double that and we asked why and they said the price was per issue however that was not mentioned in the morning. So we paid. They also said nothing was wrong with the break lights however later that night like always people are honking at me that the break lights don’t work. I ended up emailing them about the break lights not working and also how we were charged double after we specifically asked how much to check the car. They call my boyfriend and immediately ask him “did you want to trade your car in?” How fishy is that? Why ask that?? Are they trying to cover up something. A little over 2 weeks I’m driving down the grade and almost get in a HORRIBLE car accident, why? Because my break lights aren’t working properly. I go straight to the dealership and I tell the guy to come outside with me so he can see the lights don’t work he agrees then that they don’t work. All of sudden he mentions that there was an issue with this model and I missed the window for the tail lamps to be replaced/repaired. I told him I never got the notice nor was this mentioned to me all the times I’ve come to get my car serviced here. He said he’s sorry and there’s nothing he can do and the goes on to say without me saying anything that he’ll refund us the extra $235 he charged. I feel like they knew all along the break lights didn’t work and to get out of having to repair them they chose to say “it works fine” and put not only my life but the life of my little ones at risk. Can you imagine driving down the grade thinking horn break lights work because the dealership you bought the car at said so. And everyone honking yelling “your break lights”. Shame on this dealership, not only did they give me false information about my break lights, they charged me double what I was told, and now they don’t want to pay for the repair of the tail lamps even though it’s a malfunction with that specific car/model. I spoke with GM motors, Dominick and Igancio. I hope this gets to the store manager and I hope no one ever has to deal with this...
Read moreFinally! I've tried several times to post a review, I have not given up because I'm determined to share my experience.
I've visited the dealership, I've purchased a vehicle with my husband, I've traded in a motorcycle, I've tried the whole shabang.
I can honestly and comfortably say that I will never be returning to this dealership. I will not recommend this dealership to any family friend or foe.
I walked in determined to purchase a vehicle, they painted a pretty picture and then tried rapping me with the price. I almost left with no waranty becuase they only offered warranty that cost an arm and a leg. Sorry, but I happen to like my body whole.
The finance guy must have been the only sane person in the building. The only reason we purchased the vehicle was becuase we HAD to have it.
Would I return? Never in a million years. Have I told the world about my experience? Heck Yeah.
Still till this day we seem to be having issues. We drove away with a new car and left a motorcycle as a trade in. We are close to making our first payment and our new car and Alexander has yet to send the pay off for our trade in. Does that seem fair? I don't think so.
After several attemps to try to get to the bottom of the pay off situation, we have grown very angry. The Alexander dealership does not like to return calls, it seems as though they are avoiding any sort of confrontation. All calls made to the Alexander dealership have been with respect and courtesy. I wish the Alexander dealership would treat us the same by simply picking up their phone.
Until then, thank you to those who take the time to ready my review. Please consider your visit to the Alexander dealership when purchasing a vehicle. Oh, and before I forget, don't fall for the promise of the $25 gift card for a...
