This is one of my favorite thrift stores to visit in Pacific Grove. When one can shop to help vulnerable people in need and find a treasure, it's a rewarding experience. This store always has a great variety of items to choose from including clothing, collectibles, books, and glassware, jewelry, art, and an assortment of other treasures. Often, my husband and I both leave with items to wear and a variety of other items to use and enjoy. The people who serve here are always kind and pleasant and a real blessing to others. I went in to get a loaf of bread which used to be free to take, I am a very low income individual that is struggling to make ends meet. So when I went in to get a loaf the gentleman at the counter sure we have plenty, so picked out a loaf and proceeded to walk out. Then the gentleman was extremely rude and said "what are you doing do you think the bread is free". So I calmly walked out. lots of great stuff here, but the prices are OFF the CHARTS. saw a really sweet green sweater on the rack, but balked when i saw that it was listed for $40.
