Harbor Freight — Local services in Palatka

Harbor Freight is a great place to buy inexpensive tools that actually work well. I haven't bought anything from them I regretted. They say you get what you pay for but that's not always the case. All the tools I have bought years ago are still working strong today. I put all of them through their paces. A cheap circular saw I used for hours a day every day for weeks straight cutting all kinds of material is still going. Clamps left outside in Florida weather still work. Screwdrivers and ratchets treated the same. Just a little oil and we're back in business. Even the well water pumps keep going strong. I haven't had to use any of the numerous lifetime warranties that come with most of there tools but I figure if I do that won't be a problem either because the staff at my local store...

Always my first choice when I need tools and gadgets. The staff is very helpful. I have to update regarding the pump. I went to the website and provided all of the information asked for. I never received a phone call or email in response, but a few weeks later i did receive a check for the full price plus the tax. Harbor Freight took the information I provided and refunded me. Good on them.

---------old review---------- With that being said, their pump return policy is complete crap. I paid over $200 for a pump for my well that does not work out of the box. I can't return it to the store, I have to go through their website. I have to wait days for someone to get back to me and then weeks while I PAY to ship it out, they will look at it and then determine if...

The prices are very low and it's just like I'm a kid in a candy store I can spend half an all day there really totally spend way too much money. Only thing I don't like is the new electronic coupons it's like trying to find the coupons for the products that you have in your buggy it's not like opening up a little book and flipping through there and searching for it it's a lot more difficult it's like you're standing there at the register and you got to pull up all these coupons for different things and you're holding everyone up I don't like it. Maybe because I'm not as prepared as I should be before I go in but I don't know what I want yet...
